Chapter 3

On the next morning of ThunderClan, Thunderpaw stretches his muzzles and padded out of the Apprentice Den. He headed towards the medicine den he saw a very dark green pelt tom with brown eyes are at the corner. "Leappatch," Thunderpaw mewed at him.

"Ah, morning Thunderpaw." Leappatch turns around, "How can I help you?"

"I've...I've been having these dreams and it is disturbing me every single night,"

"Well, tell me what type of dream is."

"Well..." he began, "I was dreaming about myself...dragging towards a huge hole that is in the ground that is full of stars."

"Ah, that place must be StarClan Forest."

"Yes, but before I could fall into the hole. A pale ginger she-cat with green eyes but she was covered in stars. She...she was trying to save me, then I've promised her something."

"Like what?"

"That we'll find each other,"

"Hmm, that is one huge promise that you have made."

"Yes, but she fell in with me, and in the darkness...I saw a she-cat and her pelt is the same color as Silverpelt but she is covered a lot of stars. And her eyes are full of black and white,"

"Did she say anything to you?"

"Yes...she said, 'It's time,'"

"Time for what?"

"Don't know, that's why...Yellowstar told me to come to you before my session."

"He made a wise decision, but a she-cat like that, that looks like Silverpelt. Never heard of it, but I can ask StarClan about her. Maybe they have the answers then,"

"Yes, that will help me to keep my pelt on." Thunderpaw relaxed, "But I still wondered why I've promised her that..."

"That is a good question,"

Suddenly, they both heard a voice calling out Thunderpaw's name. "Thunderpaw, where are you?"

"You better go," Leappatch started to walk away. "You don't want to miss your final day as an apprentice,"

"Yes, I know." Thunderpaw purred, "But thanks anyway though,"

"No problem," then Thunderpaw has existed the Medicine Den. He meets his mentor Pinefur; a gray tabby tom, his brother: Tigerpaw, Tigerpaw's mentor: The Deputy of the Clan; Sharkfur; a blueish-gray tabby tom with grey eyes, his best friend Stungpaw and his mentor: Rosespine; a dark cream she-cat.

"There you are Thunderpaw," his mentor meowed. "Why were you in the medicine den?"

"I was talking to Leappatch," Thunderpaw answered.

"Why were you talking with Leappatch?"

"Let me guess," Stungpaw meowed. "You have that nightmare again, didn't you?"

"Again?" Tigerpaw dropped his head,

"Yeah, I told about it to Yellowstar last night." Thunderpaw began to explain, "He gave me the advice to talk to Leappatch in the morning,

"Good advice," Rosespine purred.

"And I hope that you didn't skip your fresh-kill before that," Sharkfur meowed.

"Oops," Thunderpaw lowered his head. I have forgotten about that,

Tigerpaw sighed, "Here," he tossed a mouse to was Thunderpaw's paws. Thunderpaw stared at his brother, "I was saving it for later, but with your condition. You needed the most, and besides...I ate before anyone else did."

"Around dawn patrol?" Thunderpaw meowed,

"Yup,"

"Thanks, Tigerpaw," Thunderpaw purred.

"You're welcome," Tigerpaw bites his tongue with his ears running red. Thunderpaw gobbled his fresh-kill and lick his lips once he's finished.

"Alright," Pinefur purred. "Let's go," then they have exited the Hollow and entered the forest.

In the forest, the final assignment is to catch a mouse, a squirrel, or a bird. Their mentors will be listening and watching them along with Yellowstar. Their assignment is solo, so they will catch it on their own. Thunderpaw can smell the fresh scent of a squirrel, suddenly everything has become black.

When he opens his eyes, everything is light blue and everything is covered in stars. "What?" Thunderpaw jumped, "Where...where am I?"

"You are daydreaming," a she-cat voice answered. Suddenly a rose-cream tabby she-cat that is covered in stars has appeared.

"Who...who are you?" Thunderpaw growled,

"I am StarRose, the Board Keeper of StarClan." StarRose purred, "And you are Thunderpaw, an apprentice of ThunderClan."

"How did you...?"

"Easy, Silverpelt told me."

"Silverpelt?"

StarRose nodded,

"What do you want with me?"

"Follow me," she turned.

"But...but I am on an assignment,"

"It can wait," StarRose turned her head to him. "This is important,"

"Alright," he padded behind her. Then she leads him into the dark sky.

In the dark sky that holds the most stars, when Thunderpaw is walking right next to StarRose. All of the sudden, Thunderpaw saw a pale ginger she-cat with green eyes has turned her head. "Help us!" her voice echoed as she trembled in fear, sudden a tiger appeared. Its pelt is very dark and it is covered with scars.

The tiger growled and attacked the very pale ginger she-cat with greens eyes,

The she-cat has screamed in terror suddenly she and the tiger has disappeared without a trace.

When it is done, Thunderpaw and StarRose are back in the light blue place with stars around them. "What...?" Thunderpaw stepped away, "What was that?"

"That is the Prophet Future," StarRose sat down. "It shows what would happen in the future,"

"Okay but...what does she mean us?"

"She meant herself and her host,"

"Her host?" Thunderpaw echoed,

"I cannot tell you that," StarRose nodded.

"Why not?"

"Silverpelt's rules," StarRose hesitated. "She once said that I must tell what their future must hold, it is forbidden. So she insists to put them into riddles,"

"Like a prophecy?"

"Correct,"

"So that's how," Thunderpaw purred. "You told other cats in StarClan before they could tell our leaders and medicine cats. Is that right?"

"No," StarRose nodded. "We whispered to their inner conscience, then they tell you the prophecy that you all believed in."

"Oh,"

"But..." Thunderpaw looks at her, "I will tell you this prophecy that I carry...it will break Silverpelt's rules,"

"Why is that?"

"I am supposed to deliver it to the next Board Keeper that lives within your world, but I want you to help it to remember them. And I want you to keep it a secret and do not tell any cat about our meeting. Not even your medicine cat or your leader, understand?"

"Yes ma'am,"

"Good, now listen carefully." StarRose sighed, "Fire will return in the season of rebirth, betrayed by the spirit of the Tiger took possession of a loved one. The fire must meet a cat that has been raised by two legs themselves.

"Together, they must find the guardians: The Blood of the Earth, Descendants of the Ancient Skies, Keepers of the distant Mountain Peaks, The Sky, The River, The Shadow, The Wind, and the cat who holds the pelt that is full of Miracles that lives within the heart."

"That's it?"

"That is the only part of the prophecy, the rest are separate. But you must not tell anyone about it, got it?"

"Yes ma'am,"

"Good," StarRose purred. Suddenly she has been disturbed by warmth in the air, "You better go, your clan is waiting for you."

"Okay...but..."

"We will soon meet again, Thunderpaw." Then everything has turned white to black.

When Thunderpaw opens his eyes, he saw a fat squirrel between his paws. "Good job Thunderpaw," his mentor meowed. "That squirrel will feed enough kits in the nursery, well done."

"Uh...thanks," Thunderpaw replied. What happened? Thunderpaw wondered, When did I catch that squirrel?

"And Stungpaw and Tigerpaw," Rosespine purred, "You both caught the right size of mouse and bird for each elder, well done."

"It looks like you three has already to become warriors," Sharkfur purred.

"Okay, pick up your fresh-kill and deliver them to the ones that we have told you about," Rosespine ordered, Thunderpaw picked the squirrel up with his jaws, Tigerpaw picked up the bird with his jaws, and Stungpaw has picked up the mouse with his jaws and started to head towards the Hollow. To Thunderpaw, he wonders how did he catch the squirrel. In his gut, something is guiding him to the assignment unwillingly while he was daydreaming.

But who is it? Thunderpaw wondered, And why? The answer will soon come to him after the ceremony of a warrior.
