Lionheart was very upset anyone could tell that. Ivorystar looked away just knowing that Lionheart had to loose his mother made Ivorystar feel hopeless. Everyone gathered in a line at the medicine cat den to get their injuries checked out all Ivorystar had was a few scratches so he let the others go before it was his turn. He walked up to Misteye. "Is Dustfur alright?" Ivorystar mewed softly, "His neck wound has healed but, it left a nasty scar. Tomorrow he can go back to warrior duties." Misteye mewed as she started smearing marigold pulp on Ivorystars scratches, "How is your eye doing?" Misteye asked, "Its fine its just I can't see out of it anymore." Ivorystar sighed, during his life Paupi would scar others in battle to make them remember him if he decided he wanted to let them live and, that is the exact thing he did to Ivorystar he ripped out his right eye and tore his tail so now, it is stubby. Ivorystar looked over at Iceheart and saw him with a bloody muzzle. "Misteye after you are done with my scratches, can you take a look at Icehearts muzzle?" Ivorystar mewed, "Sure! Anyway I can help!" Misteye purred, "There! Your done!" Ivorystar got up and walked over to Iceheart. "Iceheart you need to go to Misteye to get your muzzle checked out." Ivorystar meowed, "Okay dad." Iceheart mewed and, he walked over to the medicine cat den. Ivorystar followed. "Iceheart why did you kill that rogue Fang?" Ivorystar asked as Misteye started dressing Icehearts wound, "He took one of your lives away and he killed Lionhearts mother, why shouldn't I have killed him?" Iceheart asked, "Well the warrior code says you don't have to kill others to win battles." Ivorystar meowed, "Yeah but it also says if the threat is dangerous enough, then you can." Iceheart answered, "Iceheart your wound needs to heal so you need to stay in your den for a few days until it does." Misteye mewed, "Yes Misteye."
