I woke up to light streaming into the den. I got up and stretched then started to groom my pelt. I heard a shuffle beside me and I looked down to see Stormpaw waking up. "Good morning sleepyhead." I meowed as he stretched. "How long have you been awake?" He asked, "I woke up when the sun was coming into the den." I said "We should head out and see if their is anything that we can do." I added. We stood up and pushed our way out into the camp. I looked up at the sky and saw that it was sun-high. "Well I was afraid that you were going to sleep all day." Snowleopard meowed."Why didn't you wake us up?" Stormpaw asked "Because you were tired." Snowleapard meowed. "We need to get some moss." She added. She walked away and we followed, "Here is a good place to get moss." Snowleapard meowed stoping beside a big tree with moss all over. "First we need to make sure that the moss is dry." She meowed, we ran forward and padded around on the moss. "Ow!" Stormpaw yelped, "What happened?" Snowleapard and I asked in unison. "I stepped on a thorn!" Stormpaw meowed licking his paw. "That is another thing, we need to make sure that we get all of the thorns out of the moss." Snowleapard we nodded and gently raked our claws through the moss. Once we did that we clawed the moss up and put them in bundles. "Now if you take one bundle of moss and put it under your chin then you can carry more in your mouth." She told us, we did what she told us and started taking it back to the camp. After we got the moss in the nest we got some fresh kill and layed out in the sun until we got tired and went to our nest for the night.

7 moons later

"Silverpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and fight and defend your clan even at the cost of your life?" Stormstar asked "I do." My voice echoed around the camp and I was shaking in excitement "Then by the power of StarClan I give you your warrior name, from this day on you will be called Silverwing because of your skill in flight." Silverwing, Stormwhisper, Robinheart, Whitestripe, Starshine, Snowcloud! The clan cheered out our names and I sat as tall as I could.

Later that nigh we sat guarding the camp we heard whispering. I flew up and saw Foxstar and his clan mates. "It's Foxstar." I hissed at Stormwhisper who sat next to me. I flew into the Stormstar's den and prodded him in the side. "Wha.." He saw me sat straight up "What is wrong?" He asked me "I think Foxstar is going to attack us. Should I wake everyone?" I asked "Yes" he answered and with that I ran out of his den and flew down to were my sister and the rest of my litter mates where. "Wake everyone in camp and one of you stay here." I whispered to them, the nodded and ran off Starshine stayed and watched I flew into the warriors den "everyone wake up quietly." I whispered as loud as I could they got up and I told them what was going on and ran outside. As soon as we got outside and in a line Foxstar yowled "DarkClan attack!" Then they started to run into the camp then stopped when they saw that we were ready I smirked "How did you now we were coming?!" Someone in the battle patrol asked Stormstar beckoned me to stand next to him. "Maybe if you were quite and and tried to hide maybe just maybe I wouldn't have seen you." I meowed opening my wings. All of them sat eyes wide as I flew up "StormClan attack!" Stormstar yowled I dived down at Foxstar landing on top of him and pushing the air out of him and clawed his back.he yowled in pushed up with his legs making me fall of his back. "You don't deserve to even be alive!" Foxstar growled leaping at me. I rolled over but he still got my side I sprung up on my feet and faced him. "More like you are afraid of me and you want me dead so you don't have to worry about me." I hissed my tail thrashing. He growled in anger and leaped at me, I jumped over him and landed on his back."Ready for a ride you fox-heart?" I hissed in his ear his eyes widened and when I started to flap my wings and Foxstar let out a yowl of fear. "HELP!!" Foxstar yowled and I started to fly to his camp. "DarkClan retreat!" He yowled struggling in my grasp. I flew over DarkClan's camp, flew down low, and dropped him into his camp. After that I flew back to camp I looked around and say a gray lifeless body lying on the ground "Nooo!" I yowled run up to him.

3 days after the battle

We had gotten back to camp and I was sharing a rabbit with Moonberry. Then I heard a yowl from somewhere outside of camp and I stiffened "What's wrong?" Moonberry asked "Can't you hear that?!" I asked surprised that she could not here it "No I can't hear it but it might have something to do with the prophecy that Redstar gave you." She meowed "w-what should I do?" I asked "Follow the noise until you find him." she meowed and with that I took off out of the entrance of the camp and started to fly as fast as I could. I finally found him and ran up to him, and it was Stormwhisper "What happened?!" I asked worried for my new found mate. Then I heard a whisper in my ear "He will have wings too Silverwing you can only comfort him." I sat next to him and whispered in his ear "You will be ok I promise." Then the a patrol of ten cats came out of the bushes and starred to attack us there cats jumped at me at I stood over my new mate to protect him "give up you cheating pice of fox-dung." Mudfur hissed at me "Never" I hissed at him but as I was talking he lunged at Stormwhisper and managed to scratch him in the side before I clawed him away. I knew that it made the whole wing thing hurt more so I grabbed hi scruff and put him in a hole in a nearby tree and put him down I looked down and saw that Mudfur had followed me to the tree I looked back and saw that Stormwhisper had gotten up and was looking at his new wings and testing them out. "Together they will glow like fire when others are in danger." I heard a voice meow. I looked at Stormwhisper and beckoned him to stand beside me then all of my senses got stronger I heard a cat running towards us. When the cat came into sight I saw Moonberry and Firetail. Mudfur saw them too "If you don't what to play fare then I will kill them, then you!" He hissed at us then his eyes widened with fear and I could tell that he was trying to hide it. I looked at Stormwhisper and saw that his eyes were glowing white and his wings and paws had a dark grey and orange fire I looked at my paws and saw ice blue fire at my paws and on my wings we jumped down and I looked at him "You want a fair fight?!" I asked him "Yes." He growled at me trying to hide his fear. "Well I will not use my wings then and we will fight!" I yowled pretending to lunge at him trying to make him jump at me. He jumped at me and I swatted him down with one paw. "Get rid of the fire." He hissed "I can't" I growled at him jumping up and landing on top of him. I dug my claws into his pelt and he yowled in pain I got of and saw burn marks where my claws were. He got up and leaped at me and I ducked, I turned around but not quick enough. He bit my wing and I yowled in pain he let go and instead of jumping at me he jumped at Firetail. Her eyes widened "Nooo!" Stormwhisper and I yowled at the same time. We jumped at him but it was too late she was already on the ground dead "Noooo!" We all yowled I grabbed Mudfur and threw him at a tree knocking him out.

Moonberry and Stormwhisper carried Firetail home and I dragged Mudfur to camp. "What happened?!" Stormstar asked I dropped Mudfur "He killed Firetail." I growled then Blackfire came back from a patrol. "Nooo!" Blackfire ran towards his sister "W-w-what happen?!" He asked I felt it was my fault that she died. "He killed her and it was my fail to that I let him killing him I should have taken the hit." Then Blackfire lunged at me and I still had the fire at my paws. He scratched my sides and everywhere he could before someone polled him off of me. "You do not attack your own Clan mate Blackfire." Stormstar growled at him "I-I-I am so sorry, I do not know what came over me." Blackfire meowed ears flat against his head. I looked at his paw and saw that the fur was burned off and showed burned skin. I just collapsed from pain. "Silverwing!" Stormwhisper ran up to me and laid beside me. Then a bright light that was so bright that all I saw was white. As soon as it was their it disappeared I looked around. I looked down and saw that my fire had gotten bigger and then it went down back to its normal size.
