I woke up to a paw prodding my side, "Wake up it is almost time to go to the gathering." Meowed the cat. I sat up and saw Stormpaw standing beside my nest, I yawned and nodded, I got up stretched and walked out of the den and started to groom my fur. "Is everyone ready?" Stormstar asked his clan mates everyone nodded and Stormstar burst out of camp running through the forest. I was so exited that I was jumping up as high as I can and gliding back down and once I even landed on Stormpaw and we rolled down the hill laughing. "Do you want the other Clans to think that you are kits?" Spottedflame asked, we shook our heads, "Then stop acting like kits and start acting like apprentices." Spottedflame scolded speeding up and leaving us untangled. After that we ran along with our Clan until we reached Four Trees. We were the first ones there and when we went to explore the area another Clan came running into the clearing. "Greetings Stormstar." The leader meowed, "Greadings Rainstar." Stormstar meowed, "This must be StreamClan." I meowed to Stoprmpaw, remembering when their Clan talked about Rainstar after gatherings. "You two look pretty small to be out of the nursery." Remarked a big brown tom meowed, I lashed my tail "Just so you know we were just made apprentices I meowed standing up on my hind legs and using my tail for balance. He laughed at me and walked away, I fell back on all fours my tail still lashing and my fur brisling. "Don't worry about him he likes to get under everyone's pelt." Someone meowed from behind me, I turned around and saw three cats running towards us, small red tom ran ahead and bundled right into me, I gasped as I rolled over on my back. "I am so sorry!" He meowed getting off of me and letting me get up. "Redpaw!" The Black she-cat meowed shoving Redpaw hard in the side. "Are you ok? Redpaw can be so clumsy sometimes." A white she-cat meowed, "I'm ok." I meowed getting up and shaking my pelt. "Their is something on your back. " Redpaw meowed, "Here I got it." Redraw meowed walking up to me, he raised his paw and swiped at my wing. I opened my wing just before he hit it. "Are those wings?" The white she-cat asked, "No, of corse not cat don't have wings mouse-brain." The black she-cat meowed, "Actually they are wings." I meowed opening my wings. "That is what you get for not having an imagination Blackpaw." The white she-cat meowed, "Shutup Willowpaw." Blackpaw growled, "Do you know how to fly?" Willowpaw asked, "A little." I meowed, "Can y-" Willowpaw stated to meow, "Show us, show us, show us!" Redpaw meowed, I heard Stormpaw laughing as he walked up to me. "Ok I will show you." I meowed starting to flap my wings, I felt my paws come off the ground. After I was off the ground one tail-length I stopped flapping my wings and let myself fall back to the ground. "Wow!" Willowpaw and Redpaw said in unison. "That was so cool!" Redpaw meowed jumping around like a kit going out into the camp for the first time. "Let the gathering begin!' Stormstar yowled from on top of the rock. I looked up and and saw the other clans had arrived. "NightClan will start!" An orange tom meowed, "NightClan is doing well, and Blackshade had three heathy kits." The orange meowed, he dipped his head and stepped back and Rainstar took his place, "StreamClan is doing well too, We have three new apprentices" She meowed "Blackpaw and Redpaw are training to be warriors and Willowpaw is training to become a Medicine cat." She meowed beside us the three cats sat up tall as cats called there name, Stormpaw and I joined in the chant "Redpaw, Blackpaw, Willowpaw!" We yowled. After everything quieted down Rainstar stepped back and Stormstar took her place. "We also have new apprentices." Stormstar meowed, "Stormpaw, Starpaw, Silverpaw, Robinpaw, Snowpaw, and Whitepaw." Stormstar meowed. I sat up as straight as I could as the Clans called our names. After that HeatherClan said that Brightfur was expecting kits. "Bye!" I called after Redpaw, Blackpaw, and Willowpaw, "Bye" They called back as they disappeared in the undergrowth. We went home after them, I was ready to sleep in my nest. We ran all the way back to camp, one we got their I ran right to my nest, climed into it and the second I laid down I fell asleep.
