You're alone in a pine forest, a thick fog surrounding you. You look around widely, the dead silence not very comforting, until you see the shadow of a cat slowly walk towards you. You stand your ground, your fur on end as the mystery cat stopped. Even though the strange cat was only a few mouse-lengths away, all you could see was its silhouette; that, and its icy blue eyes, which seemed to glow and cut through the fog. "Hello, young one," a feminine voice spoke, her voice as calm and soothing as lake water, and yet full of wisdom. "I see you are lost. Come." And with a flick of her tail, she padded off into the darkness, leaving you no choice but to follow.

As you followed behind her, the fog slowly started to lighten up, allowing you to see that she was a bright ginger she-cat with a darker ginger belly. As your eyes adjusted to the somewhat vacant fog, you noticed dark ginger spots dotting her whole pelt. The pine forest started to thin out, and the fog was completely gone. She suddenly sat down with her tail wrapped around her paws. She was staring straight ahead. "Keep heading straight and you should continue on out of this forest."

You nod and start to pad off, but something inside of you makes you turn back around. The she-cat who had led you out of the pine forest was still sitting there, watching you with her cool blue eyes. "What's your name?" you ask.

"My name is Fallenstar. I am ThornClan's leader," she replies smoothly.

"ThornClan?" you ask curiously.

She nods. "ThornClan is a group of cats like you and me that live together in harmony. We hunt for those who cannot yet or can no longer hunt for themselves, and protect those in need of protection. We live alone in this forest, it may seem, but we are not alone. We have each other to keep us company, and danger is never too far away. It is the life of a warrior."

You just stood there, mesmerized by her words.

"We are always open for cats like you, loner. But remember, danger lurks among the shadows and fog, and betrayal leads to exile."
