One month later, Fierceclaw was mostly healed, and only had one scar, the scar from his shoulder wound. Thorn also had her kits. She had four kits, two she cats and two toms. She named the two/ she cats Blackkit and Pandakit. She named the two toms Whitekit and Rustkit. 

"Why Pandakit?" asked Fierceclaw. "What is a panda, anyway?"

"Panda is my sister, and I have an older brother named Rusty," said Thorn. I named Rustkit and Pandakit after them. When Panda, Rusty, and I were young, we were owned by Twolegs. They said a panda was some creature that lives in China."

"Oh, cool" said Fierceclaw, looking at his mate and kits adoringly.
