"Ahh! Fangkit! Mom! Help!" Cried Larkkit. That awoke most of the camp, who attempted to go and help. A fox was standing over Larkkit. 

"No! My sister!" Screamed Fangkit, who was closest to Larkkit. Fangkit tried to attack the fox, but a kit is no match for a fox. The fox killed him with one stroke and ran off with Larkkit. When Morningmist recovered from her shock, Larkkit was gone and Morningmist's other kit was dead.
