Meanwhile, Redfang was asleep in the warriors' den. In his dreams, he saw his father, Flamingstar. 

"Father! Father!" called Redfang.

"Hello, Redfang, my son," replied Flamingstar.

"How are things in Darkclan, Father?" asked Redfang. 

"Very nicely, but I have something I need you to do," answered Flamingstar. "You need to kill Gleampaw and Pineleaf."

"Why?" asked Redfang.

"They know there's a prophecy that predicts your rise to power. So you have to kill them before they can tell anyone." answered Flamingstar. 

"Okay, Father, I'll find a way to kill them, I promise," said Redfang. "I won't let you down."

And Flamingstar nodded his head and faded from sight.
