One moon later, some clan members noticed that Cloudfur and Spiderleap had been spending a lot of time together. When they were apprentices, Cloudfur had gained Spiderleap's trust by trying to talk to him and being kind to him, even when he wasn't especially friendly and the other apprentices weren't very friendly to him, either. Cloudfur was his only friend.

Now, they spent much of their days hunting together. One day, while they were hunting, Spiderleap admitted to Cloudfur that he loved her.

"I love you too" said Cloudfur.
