It watched from below. It had always been watching, waiting and learning. Ever since the dawn of time- it had watched. Watching for the right people to come along. The two players fought. They were good. But not as good as some of what it had seen. One of the players died.

It watched, savouring it. It didn't know why it enjoyed watching pain, suffering, anguish. But it was done with this. It was ready to move on.

Solangel sighed as she watched Illuma pace back and forth. 

"Illuma, stop. This may be bad, but we can't just stand here waiting for it to end!" She finally cried.

"I know Sol, but what do you want me to do?" Illuma answered with frustration. 

Solangel was quiet. 

"I don't know." She finally said. 

"It is gaining power though, Sol! We don't even know what it is! It's an anomaly! A glitch! It shouldn't be there! How are we supposed to fight it if we can't even see it!" Illuma shrieked with frustration. 

"It hasn't seen them yet." Sol said. 

"They could beat it."
