Warning: Very old writing 

Ocean, 10 moons old now, was watching her brothers, Storm and Comet, play fighting in the back yard. Smudge, her father, told her all that he knew about the wild cats, who lived in the forest. She wishs to join them, but her mother, Luna, told her not to.

"Hey, Ocean!" Comet shouted,"Why don't you come over here and fight me?" Comet got himself in a fighting position. 

"I kicked your tail, last time!" Ocean shouted back, with amusement in her eyes, "Ready for me to do it again?" She got herself in a fighting position. Comet leaped at her, but she moved to the side. When he landed, Ocean jumped on his back and they started tumbling toward the road, in front of their house. 

"Look out!" Storm cried out. Ocean heard him and landed safely on the grass, while Comet keeped rolling on the road. A car was heading his way, before she could warn him, it slammed right into Comet's body!

 "COMET!" Ocean and Storm called. When the car passed, Ocean could see Comet, his body was crushed under the pressure of the car.

"Comet?" she said, shaking, "Please, you can't be dead, wake up." She could hear her housefolk, shouting and running toward her and Comet. She could feel tears, forming in her eyes, This is all my fault, she thought, I'm so sorry.

*Time skip, because I want to*

It was 3 moons since Comet's death, and Ocean hasn't forgotten about that tragic day. "I could've saved him," she said to herself, "but all I did was stand there, what kind of sister am I!?" Storm had heard her and walked over. "Nobody blames you, Ocean." he said,"You should know that." Ocean looked at her brother and smiled. She yawned, and decided to take a nap.

*Another time skip, sorry*

Ocean woke up in the middle of the night, she thought about the forest. She decided that she's going to go in the forest and explore for a little bit. She leaped on the windowsill and jumped down onto the soft grass of her home. She started walking toward the entrance. She entered and saw the most beautiful sight she's ever seen! Moonlight had brighten up the forest floor and the nice glint of it on the trees was amazing! She ran through the trees and felt the cool summer breeze in her fur.

"This is so much fun!" she exclaimed. Then she had this idea, she started gathering some moss and dead grass and made a makeshift bed. She circled it a few times, then curled up, and let sleep take her over.
