Oceanheart woke up early in the morning and exited the warriors den. It had been three seasons since Firestar died and Brambleclaw became the new Leader of Thunderclan. Oceanheart still missed her mate and life wasn't the same. Cherrypaw and Molepaw also became warriors. They are now Cherryfall and Molewhisker. She sighed as Squirrelflight, the deputy, organized the patrols. Oceanheart was assigned to be in the sun high patrol, with Molewhisker, Foxleap, and Dovewing. As they headed off the patrol the borders, Oceanheart scented a badger nearby, her eyes widened with fear. 

"Guys, I smell a badger." She murmured to the rest of the patrol. They stopped and prepared for a fight if the badger attacks. The badger burst out of a nearby bush and started attacking them. Oceanheart faught like all of Starclan depended on it. She thought she could hear Firestar's voice.

"We will be together again, Oceanheart." He said. That can't be good. Oceanheart believed she wasn't ready to join Starclan, if she hears the voices of Starclan now. She will die soon! Dovewing's cry knocked Oceanheart out of her thoughts. The badger had pinned Dovewing down, and she was struggling for air. Oceanheart snarled and leaped at the badger and dug her claws into its fur. It flung her off and spun around to attack her. It swiped at her chest and blood oozed from the wound. Oceanheart just stared at it, with wide eyes. She was having trouble breathing. Then she saw the flame-colored pelt of Firestar standing in front of her, when she collapsed from blood loss.

"You are ready to join us, Oceanheart, come with me." He meowed. Oceanheart smiled, closed her eyes,and let the spirits of Starclan take her. Next thing she knew was that she opened her eyes and a whole group of Starclan cats were welcoming her. She saw Mousefur, Sorreltail, Hollyleaf, Moonkit, Firestar, and. . . Comet? 

Oceanheart gasped as her brother padded toward her, "C-Comet? You've been accepted to Starclan?" She asked, and Comet nodded.

"That was my time Oceanheart, but now it's your time." He meowed, dipping his head. The other Starclan cats dipped their heads and Oceanheart was blinded by a bright light. The light faded and Oceanheart looked down at her pelt, she could see through it and it was covered in stars. Firestar padded toward her.

"Welcome to Starclan, my love." He meowed and nuzzled her cheek. She licked his shoulder. She was glad that she finally joined Starclan and has been reunited with her mate and her lost family members. She was finally happy.
