Ok, I like the name Shadesun.

Backstory: Darkkit had a mostly normal kithood, growing up with her close friend Featherkit and her brother Sharpkit. When Darkkit was about five moons, she started developing feelings for Featherkit. She knew that Featherkit probably didn't share them, but she still had hope. During their apprentice ceremonies, Darkkit noticed something. While Featherkit was being apprenticed, Sharpkit was looking at her in a certain way. It was clear that he had romantic feelings for Featherkit. Darkkit was crushed, and knew she couldn't take Featherkit away from her brother. When it was time for her to be apprenticed, she knew what she had to do. She stepped forwards and requested to be a medicine cat. The clan was shocked, but everyone approved. Darkkit (now Darkpaw) knew that she would never be able to love Featherpaw now, and her brother would be happy. She never revealed her feelings for Featherkit, and acted like she was happy to be a medicine cat. Sharppaw and Featherpaw did end up falling In love and becoming mates once they were made warriors, which reassured Darkpaw that she had made the right choice. Soon she became a full medicine cat, receiving the name of Darkpond. Soon after, she helped Feathercloud (formerly Featherpaw) deliver Sharpheart's (formerly Sharppaw) kits. She felt happy for the couple, but it secretly pained her to see them together. One night, Darkpond was collecting herbs when she was Feathercloud meeting with a Riverclan tom. The pair had their tails twined, and Darkpond could clearly see what was going on. She confronted Feathercloud later, telling her to stop meeting the tom. Feathercloud said she would, and Darkpond dropped the issue. She didn't speak of it again until she found out Feathercloud had lied. She was still seeing the tom. Darkpond was enraged, and told all the clans at a gathering. When Feathercloud asked her why she did it, Darkpond told her that "if you have the audacity to cheat on my brother, to break the code for some Riverclan tom, you deserve the worst punishment possible." Feathercloud was eventually exiled, as it was discovered that the affair had been going on for moons. Darkpond helped her brother cope with the loss of his mate, and helped him raise his kit that now had no mother. She eventually became the mentor to one of them (Spotkit) and he made her very happy. She treated him like she was his own son. She died peacefully in her sleep when she was 68 moons old.

Long, but interesting. Also, for Feathercloud's kits, was here a fight/argument over who got them? Or did she give them up?
