"It's been voted on" Lilacstar's voice was dull. "Thrushwing, you are guilty. But I want to give you one chance. You may sleep here for one more night, then you are gone"

Thrushwing stared at the ground. "I didn't do it..." Lilacstar want ed to believe him, but couldn't. Without a word, she turned away, padding to the den.

Squirrelkit stayed curled up in the corner, Spottedflame next to Smallkit.

Thrushwing crept out of the warriors den, looking out the entrance hopefully. Sure enough, there was Dovefern. She ran up, licking his cheek. "We're you caught?"
Thrushwing sighed, nodding.
"I'm leaving today. Let's make our last kill."

He snuck into the nursery, tugging a passed out Squirrelkit into the clearing, and her eyes shot open. She let out a screech of alarm, quickly cut short as Thrushwing hit her on the head, knocking her out. Dovefern had dug a hole, and Thrushwing tosses Squirrelkit, still alive, into the hole. The cats both started filling in the hole, when suddenly Lilacstar appeared from her den. She saw the seen, and rage filled her.
