How to Create a PURRfect Main Character (Part 1: Names)

Note that, just like it refers to in the A/N, this is my opinion and my process for doing things! If you don't like these thoughts, then you don't have to be here! Also, sorry for not updating lately!

Do Character: Fennecfall
Don't Character: Snowclaw

To get this thing started, we need a name for your character. To have this as PURRfect as possible, avoid commonly used prefixes like Gray and Moon and basic, boring prefixes like Blue and One. This also goes with common suffixes like Stripe and Tail and boring ones like Claw, Fur, and Pelt.
Also try and avoid strange names that make absolutely no sense to a character's skills and environment. Your not gonna have a cat who's horrible with their claws and lives in the hot, barren desert named Snowclaw, which not only makes no sense, but is also made of a quite common prefix and suffix.
But, if you have a female cat in the desert who is great at jumping, maybe use a name like Fennecfall or Fennecleap. Both the prefixes and the suffixes are very uncommon. I recommend doing research on the type of territory your Warrior Cat lives in, like I did. A fennec is a small desert fox (I've pet one in a petting zoo before, they're pretty cute) with tan fur and large ears that can be found hunting during the day, unlike most desert creatures.
A wattpadder named thegreatamericanbook once said, "I usually use their personality or looks for the prefix. I named a character Mousehead once, implying that they were a Mouse-brain." I like how she worded this because it's pretty much what you have to do with a name. Sometimes the readers take rude names offensively, so I'd be careful of that, too!
