A breeze blew across the surface of the pond, causing it to ripple. A faint siluet of a cat could just about be seen on the opposite end of the crystal clear water. The cat turned around, ears pricked as though it had heard something. Another cat entered the clearing. "Greetings Stripestar." Meowed the second cat in a deep rumbling voice.
"Birdstar." Stripestar replied, giving his head a quick nod.
"You seem troubled?" Birdstar's muscles rippled under his sleek pelt as he sat down next to Stripestar.
"I have seen great darkness. An impending doom is falling upon the clans." Stripestar's eyes were deeply troubled as he looked at Birdstar.
"I have seen it too. But it can be stopped. Only when the spark ignites and the dew takes flight on a raven's feathered wing will the darkness be stopped. Together they will unite five and stop the fire and stone."
"They must unite?"
"There is no other way."
"But how will we tell them?"
"We will walk in their dreams when they're ready to listen."
