CowPaw felt the warm sun on her fur. She woke up and her eyes felt dry, she felt tired and didnt want to move. But as she heard SwiftPaw running up to her excitedly she jolted.

Swiftpaw halted infront of her barely catching his own breath before he whisper yelled, "were being made warriors!!" He yelped. CowPaw stared in shock and quickly groomed herself and felt her ears prick.

"All cats old enough to survive against the cold please come to the StreamRock for a meeting!" She heard RisingStar yowl just before breaking into a coughing fit.

The new deputy TumbleFoot stood beside RisingStar and supported him. As all apprentices made they're way out they were all happy. RisingStar looked at all of them and then meowed loud enough for all cats to hear.

"It is time for new apprentices to be made warriors, they have proved they're loyalty and deserve the honor of being a warrior." RisingStar lookged at Swiftpaw "SwiftPaw come up here," he said and SwiftPaw leaped confidently on top of the smooth rock.

"as leader of SnowClan I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice and understand his loyalty to the clan." He looked to the sky. "I believe it is time he would be made a warrior." He looked back to Swiftpaw and meowed once more "SwiftPaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend the clan even with your life?"

Swiftpaw looked at RisingStar firmly. "I do" he meowed loud and clear. RisingStar nodded "then I leader of SnowClan address that you will no longer be known as Swiftpaw you now shall be known as SwiftStrike!" SwiftStrike puffed out his chest proudly and leaped down.

RisingStar looked at RavenPaw and meowed "RavenPaw come up here." RavenPaw didn't hesitate and jumped on there immediately. "as leader of SnowClan I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice and understand his loyalty to the clan." RisingStar meowed.

"I believe it is time he would be made a warrior." RisingStar looked to RavenPaw a glint of pride in her eyes.
"RavenPaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend the clan even with your life?"

RavenPaw looked at all the faces around him and took a breath then finally meowed "I do" RisingStar looked firmly into his eyes "then I leader of SnowClan address that you will no longer be known as RavenPaw you now shall be known as RavenFeather!" RisingStar lifted a paw and rubbed it on her face.

RavenFeather stretched and yowled in excitement leaping down without leaving a trip behind him. RisingStar looked at HollyPaw and purred, "Come up HollyPaw." With excitement HollyPaw jumped up confidently.

RisingStar took a long breath, "as leader of SnowClan I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice and understand her loyalty to the clan." He looked firmly at the strong builded golden she-cat. "I believe passionately that the time has come for her to be made a warrior."

HollyPaw scuffled her paws in excitement as RisingStar continued, "HollyPaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend the clan even with your life?" RisingStar looked at HollyPaw.

"I do!" She meowed confidently and pridefully. RisingStar nodded eagerly, "then I leader of SnowClan address that you will no longer be known as HollyPaw you now shall be known as HollyPounce!!" HollyPounce yowled in excitement her tail lashing in happiness.

Finally as HollyPounce jumped down RisingStar looked down at CowPaw warmth and sorrow in her eyes. "Cowpaw come up here."

Cowpaw bunched her haunches and as much as she didn't want to admit it, she felt a ting of happiness rush through her. "as leader of SnowClan I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice and understand her loyalty, kindness, and greatness to the clan." RisingStar purred.

"I believe undoubtedly that the time has come for her to be made an warrior." She continued,"Cowpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend the clan even with your life?"

Cowpaw looked slowly at her and meowed loudly, "I do" finally RisingStar looked at her, "then I leader of SnowClan address that you will no longer be known as CowPaw you now shall be known as CowSpot!!" CowSpot looked happily and nodded in her thanks and felt excited as she jumped down and heard all of the cats yowling.

"SwiftStrike! RavenFeather! HollyPounce! CowSpot!" She felt herself began to purr and turned to see Dovestripe pride filling her gaze. She walked over to CowSpot and nodded, "you were the most well behaved apprentice I've known, CowSpot."

CowSpot purred her tail wagging in happiness, she was going to walk away and join the others before RisingStar yowled once more. "I have more news! DoveStripe one of our warriors has served our clan well, and made five apprentices into strong loyal warriors!"

CowSpot couldn't help but slightly nudge Dovestripe knowing her old mentor was a great warrior and she playfully whispered"wow! I guess you should be made leader!" DoveStripe purred affectionately then all attention went back to RisingStar.

"But she has made the struggling decision to join the elders den as she has served the clan for over 60 moons." RisingStar firmly yowled and all cats let out a sad yowl and appreciative yowl.

CowSpot turned to face Dovestripe and nodded "you have served our clan well, and will do the same as an elder." She saw Dovestripe's gaze sadden a bit and she looked at CowSpot.

"I will not be able to fight but I will do as I can, I thank you CowSpot for being so very respectful." DoveStripe meowed just before RisingStar interrupted "clan dismissed!"

CowSpot nodded and watched as Dovestripe walked away, thank you, Dovestripe for being the best mentor ever known... She immediately pricked her ears she turned to speak to her mom and dad about how she was so happy that she was made a warrior but remembered they were gone.

She turned her head and saw HollyPounce SwiftStrike and RavenFeather sitting by eachother and shrugged. She trotted over and turned to the side nudging them forward to the camp entrance.

She curled and they all sat in silence, as they kept they're silent vigil. Mom if you can hear me, I hope you know I am a warrior!
