Ok, before we get started, lets just go through the basics of cat genetics. 

Brown and creams=a deludes of red 

Lilac = delude of red 

Black = dominant to everything except red

Gray/silver/blue = deludes of black

White = every cat starts out white until the colors change (from the mother and father) 

Only she cats can be tortoiseshells and toms can not be more than one color unless they are tabby or white. 

Calico, tabby, and tortie are patterns, not colors.
