Stonestar gasped. "Who?" He mewed. "My mother, Sparkelmo-" I was cut off the irritated voice of my voice brother's, Lightningfur, voice. "Our mother!" She spat. "Right. Our mother." I rolled my eyes. "Sparklemoey? Oh, what a tragedy. She was once my best warrior before she had you three." My leader sighed. "I will tell the Clan." She mewed. He flicked his tail to show me and my siblings that we were dismissed.

Stonefur padded up onto the high rock. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, come to the high rock for a clan meeting!" She yowled. Cats were already sitting under the high rock to hear what there leader had to say. She beckoned with his tail for me to come up on the high rock with him. I nodded and leaped up onto the high rock with ease. Then, he spoke. "Cats of StormClan, I have good and bad news. The good news is we have three new apprentices." Mews of excitement came from the cats in the crowd. I sat next to my leader, waiting to hear who the new apprentices were and their mentors. "Cloudykit! Will you come up here." My leader said. A small black and white she-kit came up to the high rock with a shocked expression. I smiled at the young kit with pride. The kit returned my smile with her own, then turned to Stonestar.

"You have reached the age of 6 moons and is ready to become an apprentice. With the power of StarClan, I will give you your apprentice name. From now on young Cloudykit will become Cloudypaw!" Mews of congratulations came from the cats. "Your mentor will be Lightningfur." Stonestar addressed to the sleek, calico warrior, my brother, to the young apprentice. My brother walked up to the high stone. "Lightningfur, you are a strong, brave, curious warrior with a good heart. I wish you pass on everything you know down to this young apprentice. Do you understand?" "I do." Lightningfur nodded. He reached down to touch noses with his mew apprentice.

"Now, Leafkit! Come here." Stonestar mewed. A small brown tom came up to the high rock. "Leafkit, you are now 8 moons and is certainly ready to become and apprentice. From now on, you will be known as Leafpaw!" The small kit didn't seem as if you cared though. "Your mentor will be Shadowpelt." He said looking at a pear black she-cat with many scars. Now that made Leafpaw's eyes brighten. Shadowpelt padded up to the high rock. "Shadowpelt, you are a very strong, stealthy, amazing warrior, you are loyal to the Warriors Code. I wish you to pass on everything thing you know to Leafpaw. Do I make myself clear?" Stonestar mewed. "Yes, Sir." Shadowpelt said in a husky voice. "Good." Stonestar mewed. Shadowpelt stretched down to touch noses with her new apprentice.

"Lastly, Stormkit." A small tabby tom came bounding up to his leader. "From now on, you will be known as Stormpaw. Your mentor will be Cinderflight." Stonestar announced. A sleek black she-cat with white paws and tail tip came up to the high rock. "You are a good warrior, one of the best. I recommend you to teach this young apprentice everything you know as a warrior." Stonestar said. "Yes, I will, thank you." Cinderflight mewed and touched noses with Stormpaw. "Now, for the bad news. A queen, Sparklemoey, has been taken by StarClan. Stormyfur, can you tell us what happened?" Stonestar asked me. I nodded hopelessly.
