I sniffed around camp in hope of any fear-scents left by terrified cats. But there was none. Apparently, the news of dogs in StormClan territory was not spreading fast. I wondered whether I should go and get some rest, or stay up some more. I heard the voice of Silvertail, my first friend in StormClan, call to me. "You should get some rest. It has been a long day for you I bet." Well, that was settled. I nodded without thinking one moment and padded into the warriors den. Wait, how did Silvertail know it had been a long day? Oh, of course, he must know about the dogs. I thought to myself as I drifted into a deep sleep.

That night, I had the same dream. I was running through the same forest, not a thing changed. The snarling of the dog on my tail, the wind in my fur, the yowling of cats in the distance. Everything was the same. The dog snatched me up just like he did last time. Again, I felt the life leave my bo- wait, not all life had left my body at that moment. I wanted to wake up, but I wanted I know more... So, I took the advice Snowstorm gave me and did not wake up. It was much easier than I had thought. What I hoped would happen was totally different from what happened. Instead of the dog killing me right then, it let go of me... It yelped and growled as a cat was clawing its eyes out. The cat looked oddly familiar... it's dark calico pelt, muscled joints. It was...!

"Stormyfur! Stormyfur! Wake up!" My dream was interrupted by a rough, irritated voice made from my brother's rude muzzle. My dark calico sibling, Lightningfur, was hovering over me and growling. "What?" I hissed through clenched teeth. "Stonestar asked for you. Oh, and it's nearly sun-high!" He growled. "Okay, okay!" I said and jumped to my paws and walked out of the den. The sun nearly blinded me as it forced its rays of light on my face.
