"Sister!" A voice called out. Celestia ran through the crowd of cats. She stopped by the she-cat named Luna. "What do you mean Sombra is no more?" Celestia looked panicked. "During the battle Whooves attacked Sombra. They fought for a while then he killed Sombra. And while he was gloating and destroyed him." Luna said. The crowd mewed with acceptance. Celestia jumped onto the Highrock calling the rest of the Clan. She broke the news to them. Some yowled in pain the other stayed silent in sorrow. They joined the crowd. They formed a line in front if the dead deputy. Rainbow looked at Pinkie, her eyes were full of sorrow. After a moment's pause cats went to lick Sombra's bedraggled fur. "What are they doing?" Rainbow whispered.

Pinkie didn't take her eyes off the dead cat as she replied. "His spirt may have left to join StarClan, but the Clan will share tongues with Sombra one last time." "StarClan?" Dash echoed. "Oh yea Cadence didn't tell you. StarClan is the tribe of heavenly warriors that watches over all Clan cats. You can see the in Silverpelt." Dash tilted her head to the side. "It's the thick band of stars you see in the sky. Each star is a StarClan warrior. Sombra will be one tonight."

Dash nodded and Pinkie Pie stepped forward to share tongues with his dead deputy. Celestia remained silent as the cats payed their respects to Sombra. She shared tongues with her old comrade one last time.

When she had finished she raised her he's and spoke. Her voice was low and thick with grief, the Clan listened in silence. "Sombra was a brave warrior. His loyalty to ThunderClan could never be doubted. I always relied on his judgement, fire it bore witness to the needs of the Clan,and way never swayed by self-interest or pride. He would have made a fine leader."

She laid on her belly, she bowed her head and and stretched her paws before her. She silently grieved for her lost friend. Many other cats came to lay by her side with bowed head and hunched backs echoing her depressed position. Rainbow had never met this Sombra but, she was moved as she witnessed the Clan's sadness and pain. "Spitfire will be very very sad." Pinkie said. "Spitfire?" "Sombra's apprentice. That yellow cat with the ragged orange tail. I wonder who her new mentor will be." Dash glanced at the she-cat who squatted near Sombra's dead corps. "How long will she stay there with him?" Dash asked starring at the mourning Clan leader. "All night perhaps," Pinkie Pie replied, "He was her deputy for many moons. She won't let him go so easily. He was one of our best warriors. He wasn't as strong and powerful like Luna and Cadence, he was faster than Cadence and more cleverer than Luna."

Rainbow looked at Luna, she was fascinated by Luna's strength that swelled in her muscles. Her medium sized body showed proof that she was indeed a great warrior. She had a deep scar on her nose and some scratches on her flank that was kind of shaped like a crescent moon. Luna quickly got up and slowly walked over to Derpy who was inside Tech's den.

Tech was crouched beside the wounded apprentice. "I meant to ask you this earlier but what is that fine looking tom doing with those leaves?" "He's stopping the bleeding. Different herbs have different abilities." Pinkie explain as the couple kept there eyes on the trio of cats. Luna kind gentle glance turned to a evil, uncaring glare. "So Tech," Luna started with calm tone, "How is she? Can you save her? Because I spent lots of time training her and I don't want her to die at her first battle."

Tech rolled his eyes but didn't look at Luna. "Yes it would be such a pity if your precious time had been wasted, and the poor kit died after her first battle. Eh?" Dash could hear a teasing purr afterwards. "Will she survive?" Luna growled stomping her paw on the forest floor. "Of course Luna, Derpy just needs some rest."

Luna looked down at the grayish-purplish cat. Luna unleashed her claw and poked Derpy with them. "Come on, get up you brat!" Luna jabbed the apprentice harder and harder. Derpy squirmed but didn't get up.

"Look at the length of that claw!" Dash almost yelled out. "I know I would never want to be in a tussle with Luna with those viscous things!" Pinkie joked.

"No! Not to, fast Luna!" Tech said as he moved Luna's claw away from Derpy with his paw, "Derpy need so stay as still as possible until her wound is healed. We don't want her to open the wound again by jumping around trying to please you. So can you please leave the poor thing alone!" Luna stiffed up. She was not going to tolerate this kind of tone from a medicine cat. Luna opened her mouth but then Tech mewed something in a teasing tone, "Even you know better than to argue with a medicine cat..."

Pinkie and Rainbow held their breath as they waited for Luna's reply. Rainbow Dash guessed only few cats dared to speak to the warrior in such a way. "I wouldn't dare argue with you my dear, Tech." Luna purred as her kind eyes appeared again.

As Luna turned to leave she caught sight of Rainbow Dash. Her evil eyes were back and worse than before. "Who is this?" She asked Pinkie as she walked closer. "This is Rainbow Dash! She's the new apprentice!" Pinkie said as she licked her new friend's cheek. Luna sniffed Rainbow Dash and backed away with a disgusted look on her face. "Your friend here smells like a kittypet!" Dash felt a little insulted. "I was a house cat!" Rainbow meowed boldly, "but I'm going to train to be a warrior."

Luna started at Rainbow's eyes, then tail then back at her eyes. Dash looked at Pinkie. She shrugged. "Oh, yes. My sister did bump into a stray kittypet and was going to train it. She's actually going to try, eh?" Rainbow smiled, "Yes, ma'am!" Luna's kind eyes returned,"Then I shall watch your progress with interest." She purred before trotting away.

"I think she actually liked me!" Rainbow said anxiously. "Who? Luna?" Dash nodded. "I don't think she liked any of the apprentices. Even Derpy." Pinkie joked.
