"Clanmates," the brown tabby addressed the cats sitting before him, "it's time we took control." His green eyes scanned over his six warriors, they were nearly invisible in the shadows they hid in.

Murmurs of agreement swept through the five cats, their heads dipped as they listening to their leader. They had gathered outside camp, close to the ditch filled with rotting feline bodies. The stench kept them hidden well.

The brown tom lifted his head higher. "NoName thinks she can control us, that we're her mindless pawns. But we are more than that. We are Magiclan! And we will complete our quest to exterminate Lightclan, but first we need NoName and her cats out the way."

"We're only six cats." Bonepaw pointed out, his grey eyes shining brightly in the nighttime darkness. "How can we possibly take out the whole group?"

"We do it at night. Killing one cat at a time in their sleep. For every death, we frame a prisoner and get them punished." Rabbitstar grinned.

"The plan is flawless." Secretstar added, his grin mirroring his leader's. "We will win."

The gathered cats nodded their agreement, grinning at their leader. Rabbitstar grinned back. "The plan will commence as soon as possible."

"Death to Lightclan!" Ratbreeze cheered, throwing his gaze to the sky with a bitter snarl. "Death to Lightclan!" The rest of his clan mates quickly joined in with their own cheers. Rabbitstar watched them with delight.

Then the Magiclan leader cast his gaze away from his warriors for a moment, glancing at the crow-infested body pile. Near the top of the pile, Nutwhisker's mangled body lay. His decaying remains glowed under the moon's light, his glassy green eyes still intact and staring almost directly at Rabbitstar. I'll avenge your death, my son. Even if you don't appreciate it. NoName will pay for taking you from me.
