Finn's reckoning
Aleah's eyes flickered to Bellamy's gun and she gave him an unimpressed look. "What did I say about you shooting me?"
Bellamy lowered the gun. "We already went over this. I won't shoot. What's he doing here?"
John smirked slightly as he raised his hands in defense. "I believe I was invited."
Aleah nodded over her shoulder. "John's with me."
Bellamy's eyes narrowed. "Since when is he John?"
Raven smacked him upside the head. "Focus. Plus, we could use an extra gun man anyways."
Aleah glanced around and frowned. "Where is he anyways? Finn, I mean."
As if summoned, the boy appeared with an unconscious Clarke. Aleah got to work right away. "Someone get bandages or a piece of cloth." She gently moved the blonde's eyelid. "Mild concussion. She'll feel nauseous and have a headache, but that can be fixed with time and water. She'll be fine."
Aleah stood up, brushing her hands on the strange material of the Skaikru pants. "You two stay with her, and tell me if her condition changes." She turned to the two armed boys. "I need one of you to cover the hole in the roof. One: visibility advantages. Two: if I were to try to attack you, that is where I'd enter."
John stood up. "I made the hole, I cover it."
Aleah's eyes watched as the younger boy left. "That leaves you with me. We need to guard the front."
The two lovers sat in silence as they prepared. Every once in a while, Bellamy would glance at the girl, who would just tell him to glance ahead.
She nodded her head. "There."
Bellamy glanced through his scope. "Yeah I see him. Guys, we have company!"
Aleah glanced at him. "Bell, go inside. I want to try something."
He shook his head, his curls bouncing. "No. No way."
"Do it." Bellamy hesitated before following her demand. "Na briyon. Ban op nau." [Be smart. Go back now.]
A voice responded. Yu na briyon. Twis op em raun. Kom op hou. Hod op a wor , stoda chilnes.
[You be smart. Turn him in. Come home. Stop a war, start peace.]
She shifted slightly, biting the inside of her cheek. Love is weakness, Aleah. You'll do good to remember that.
Sighing, she moved inside, only to find Raven pointing her gun at her new friend. Her eyes narrowed. "What's going on?"
Raven answered, a crazed look settling onto her face. "He was at the village too. Enough people would believe he's the shooter."
Her expression hardened. "He's my friend, we're not turning him in for a crime he didn't commit."
Raven didn't move. Aleah did. Now she had the gun. "I said we're not doing it."
Finn glanced between his friends. "She's right. We have to defend this place. Murphy takes the back. You three take the front gate. I've got the lower level with Aleah."
Once the two were alone she smiled sadly at the boy. "It's time, huh?"
Finn nodded. "It's time. I thought it would be best for you if you're people didn't think you a traitor anymore."
Her eyes watered and for the second time in the past couple of days, she hugged the boy. "Thank you. The others will hate me, you know."
He shook his head as they walked into the forest. "Maybe, but you can go home and we stop a war. Plus, if they don't see you with me, I think you'll be fine."
Lexa, as promised, greeted her sister with open arms. She had been forgiven for her crimes by all of the grounders except one person: herself.
