Clearlight's P.O.V:

The sound of kits playing woke Clearlight from his nap in the warriors den and he grumbled. He got up and shook out his thick grey fur before padding outside the warriors den and into the main clearing of Lightclan's camp.

Ashkit, Cloudkit, Foxkit, Sandkit and Snowkit were playing by the fresh kill pile.

Snowkit was chasing the other kits around, her pretty snow white pelt fluffed up in excitement.

Clearlight didn't like Snowkit. She reminded him of Skystar, his mate. Skystar had died in Moonclaw's attack five moons ago. Moonclaw was her evil father who had taken her life at the very end of the fight. She had snow white fur and lush green eyes that sparkled in the sunlight.

Clearlight shook his head. No. Stop thinking about her! Otherwise you'll get depressed again!! 

"Clearlight?" A voice brought him out of his thoughts and he looked up to see Snowkit. He resisted a small gasp as he stared into her green eyes that matched Skystar's perfectly.

He took a deep breath, "Y-yes Snowkit?"

"Who is Silverstar bringing into camp?" The little kit asked him.

Clearlight narrowed his eyes and looked behind him to see Silverstar and her patrol pad into camp. A rogue was with them. "Snowkit... go back to the nursery now." He told her quietly.

Snowkit sighed, "Fine." And bounded back to where Blazemoon and Loveheart were.

"What have we got here?" Clearlight questioned Silverstar as she led the rogue to the centre of the camp.

"I will tell you at the meeting." She smiled. "Watch him. Make sure he does not run away." She trotted away and climbed onto the Hightree and called for the clan, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Hightree for a clan meeting!"

Clearlight asked Fernepelt and Demonpaw to watch the rogue instead and he watched as the Lightclan cats gathered in the clearing.

Waterfly and Nutwhisker emerged from the Medicine den. Clearlight padded towards them. Waterfly had been part of the prophecy with Skystar, Clearlight and Silverstar; She had water powers. Her apprentice, Nutwhisker was Skystar's youngest kit out of eight!

"What is this all about?" Waterfly narrowed her blue eyes until she spotted the dark pelt of the rogue and mumbled, "Oh. I see we have a visitor."

Nutwhisker shook his brown head, "No, more like a prisoner." He pointed his tail at Demonpaw and Fernpelt, "See. They're guarding him and making sure he doesn't run away." 

Clearlight nodded, "I think this is the intruder from the day before." He wrapped his thick furred tail around his paws and looked up at Silverstar. "Let's listen to Silverstar. She'll tell us everything."

Silverstar began speaking, "As you can all see a new cat is here amongst us. He is the rogue we caught at the border, the one who has been intruding-"

"I haven't been intruding!! I was only here this mornin-" the rogue was shut up by a blow to the head by Demonpaw. Small mummers and gasps rippled through the gathered cats. No one was allowed to interrupt a clan meeting!!

Silverstar watched the cats closely, "As I was saying.. We are going to keep this rogue here in our camp for a quarter moon where he will stay in the Medicine den."

Nutwhisker muttered, "Brilliant. Now we get a stinking rogue to cause trouble in our den." Waterfly rolled her eyes.

Silverstar continued, "During this time I will question him and gather information about the other intruding cats that may cause trouble with patrols. Then at the end of the quarter moon, this rogue will choose whether to join the clan or leave for good. Clan meeting dismissed!"

Immediately after those words cats started arguing amongst themselves and muttering things like, "Why can't we just rip his ears off and send him on his way?" And "Exactly! That'll teach him a lesson."

Clearlight rolled his eyes and meowed, "Come on. Let's take the rogue into your den." He led the medicine cats to the rogue.

The rogue had black fur and ice blue eyes and he was noticeably uncomfortable with all the cats around him. Clearlight felt a wave of sympathy come over him and whispered to him, "Don't worry. You'll be fine. Come,we will take you to your nest." He nudged the uneasy tom towards the medicine den.
