Chapter 2

I yawned. It was dawn. I stretched and padded to the warriors' den. "Stormpath, Windrush," I whispered to them. I prodded them with my paw. Windrush, with his eyes closed, got up and tripped over Stormpath who smacked him with his paw.

"I'm up," They both grumbled padding out of the warriors' den. We went to mine. I grabbed a bundle and motioned for Stormpath and Windrush to grab one.

. . .

"So, how do you know where the mountains are?" Stormpath asked.

"Treestar showed me," I replied. Stormpath nodded as we continued our hike. Windrush motioned for us to stop with his tail. We looked where he was looking and saw a boarder patrol for Windclan. Since we were Thunderclan, we most likely would be stopped. They came to us.

"What are you doing on Windclan land?" Jaggedclaw, a Winclan warrior, snapped.

"We're passing through," I replied.

"Why?"

"It's none of your business!" Stormpath growled stepping between Jaggedclaw and I. Jaggedclaw growled back.

"Both of you stop!" I yowled. "Stormpath is right, it's none of your business, but it's still important. If we don't do this the clans could suffer!" Windrush stayed silent as Stormpath nodded. Jaggedclaw stared at the both of us.

"Fine, you can pass as long as you tell us where you're going." Windrush shook his head.

"Jaggedclaw, we mean no harm. We are going to the mountains on Starclan's command, let us go for the sake of the clans, please," Windrush told him. Jaggedclaw grumbled.

"Fine, come on patrol, lets go." and they left.

"Wow, Windrush, never thought you'd speak!" Stormpath chuckled as we continued. Windrush just rolled his eyes.

"Let's just focus on going, ok?"
