Bramblepaw woke up and nervously looked down at his paw pads and he noticed that that they were only bruised and not scorched from the burnt tree. "Braveclaw will have my head off," murmured Bramblepaw to himself. He went all the way to the small riverbed besidecamp to wash off the wounds. But as he dipped his burnt paws in the stream he felt that something was off. He wrinkled his nose again and then realised what was causing the disturbance, MoonClan moved their borders he was standing on the exact spot on where they moved it to. "I must tell Meadowstar," meowed Bramblepaw. Bramblepaw then looked behind him and then noticed a MoonClan patrol heading his way. He also then realised that his own Clan's dawn patrol was also heading towards him in the opposite direction. Bramblepaw sprinted over to them seeing Thunderheart, Violetpool, Lakespike, Woodpaw, Shrewpaw and Littlepaw. "What is it?--." but Thunderheart was interrupted by Bramblepaw. "It is MoonClan, they have moved their borders into our own territory! One of their patrols is heading this way right now," hissed Bramblepaw. "Well MoonClan obviously thinks we're weak. We'll have to defend our territory, I will show them," spat Littlepaw her white and grey pelt rising. "Well then. We will not show them that we're weak. Shrewpaw go back to camp and get Meadowstar," meowed Lakespike furiously. Shrewpaw nodded and pelted back through the trees. All of a sudden the MoonClan patrol quiet literally behind them, it was Daypaw, Icegaze, Lionshine and Nightfrost. "And just what do you all think you're doing on our territory?," spat Icegaze. "You changed your border. Are you really that much of an idiot to think that we wouldn't figure it out?," spat back Violetpool. "Oh please, your weakness is what gave us an advantage. There is no way that lowly apprentice with an injured paw can take on us," growled Nightfrost back his fur standing on end. At that point Bramblepaw had had enough,  he may be injured but he could still fight as strongly as any apprentice. He managed to trip Nightfrost over and then pounce on him raking his flank in doing so. His attack led to the two patrols breaking out into a fight, Shrewpaw was fighting with Daypaw, Violetpool was tussling with Lionshine. Woodpaw was preoccupied injuring Nightfrost that he never noticed Icegaze sneaking up at him from behind. Icegaze then pounced on his spine making Woodpaw roll off to her side and leaving Nightfrost yowling in pain from the apprentice's rakes. As Icegaze was pinning Woodpaw to the ground Shrewpaw instantly stopped fighting with Daypaw and then went to help Woodpaw against Icegaze. Shrewpaw tried to claw Icegaze off of Woodpaw but the warrior's greater weight made her fail to do so. Icegaze retaliated by raking Shrewpaw's hind leg. Daypaw pelted through the trees and then Meadowstar sprang out of the undergrowth with Heartpaw behind her. As they fought off the MoonClan cats the each retreated into their part of the jungle with hostile glares and hisses toward each other. After the short battle each cat painfully limped to the medicine cat's den and fell on the mossy nests shortly after blood oozing from their scratches or wounds. Hopefully Braveclaw won't notice my scorched paw pads and think I just scratched them thought Bramblepaw as as he fell asleep whilst Braveclaw was tending to everyone's wounds.
