As paws flew over sand and clumps of grass, wind streaked through her fur and whiskers. Roseclaw, a joyful warrior of WindClan was pelting after a rabbit. She enjoyed hunting out of all the patrols to do. She was without doubt one of the fastest cats of all the clans, her paws barely touched the ground as she felt she was flying when suddenly she slammed into a furry body.

"Umf!" Roseclaw yowled as she ran into the cat while going full pelt. "Hey!"

"I was running there! Roseclaw?" The cat replied back, angry at first but then soothed.
"Cactusleap, you just cost the clan a rabbit!" Roseclaw glanced behind Cactusleap, the rabbit nowhere in sight.
"Yeah, Yeah. We can catch another one. Look! See?" Cactusleap meowed quietly as a black hare appeared at the entrance to a den.

Roseclaw took off without hesitation making a wide circle around the den as Cactusleap crawled into a hole that lead to the rabbit.

The rabbit took off with fear in it's eyes as the white furred she-cat crept out from behind it. Before the hare got far, Roseclaw killed it with a swift bite to the neck.

"Guess we should get back to camp huh." Roseclaw said after she set the rabbit down, triumph glisening in her eyes.
"Yeah. Told you that you would catch one" Cactusleap said in amusement.
The two cats left for a hollow in the moor which they called home aka the WindClan camp.

As they walked into camp the fresh-kill like was large with mice, thrushes and rabbits.

"Roseclaw, Cactusleap, I need to see you in my den." A wiry brown tom spoke to them.

"Yes Harestar." They replied at the same time.
Once that for to Harestar's den, he told them about a prophecy.
