1 moon has past since Sunpaw had his first gathering and Moonlily seemed to be very tired. Sunpaw decided to talk to Snowpaw. "Hey Snowpaw" he called softly into the apprentices den. "Yes?" Snowpaw asked. "I need to talk to you. Come with me to the Night Ash. Snowpaw followed Sunpaw confused on what he needed to talk about. "It's about your mentor, Moonlily" Sunpaw said once they reached the Night Ash. "She.. she.." Sunpaw stammered. "On the night of my first gathering I saw her walk into the bushes with Thunderhawk. I think she is meeting him" Sunpaw finally said. "But.. she can't" Snowpaw whispered. "I'm pretty certain" Sunpaw said softly. Snowpaw walked away ingnoring Sunpaw. Sunpaw sighed, he was just trying to help.

Sunpaw was having an assesment, not his final one but he was still nervous. "Ok you need to catch as much prey as you can by Sunhigh. I will track and watch you" Crystalshine said. "Hunt at the Lily Field." "ok" Sunpaw said exitedly. Sunpaw raced over to the Lily Field. He tried to smell for prey but the scent of lily was overpowering. "Crystalshine, if you can hear me, I'm going to shred you" Sunpaw said playfully. He tried to focus on only prey scent and found a mouse scent nearby. He stalked the mouse and after a graceful leap, he caught it and killed it with one bite. After catching some more prey, he could swear he smelt Crystalshine scent quite near him. He turned around just in time to see Crystalshine leap up from the bushes aiming at him. He batted Crystalshine away and leapt onto her pinning her down. She rolled over and flung him of. Sunpaw saw the surprise in Crystalshine's eyes because he noticed her. Sunpaw leapt up and pinned her down again, this time she couldn't escape. "I win" Sunpaw purred. "Excellent job. I didn't think you would notice me. You pass!" Crystalshine purred back. I wonder how Snowpaw and Ashpaw went? Sunpaw thought to himself. Crystalshine and Sunpaw went back to camp, Sunpaw's prey dangling out of their mouths. When they arrived Nightwhisper, Moonlily's sister, was pacing around the camp. "Moonlily is gone" she whimpered. "I'm sure she is just hunting" Mallowstar said trying to calm the Warrior down. "No!" Nightwhisper screeched. "I now she is doing something bad, or she is in danger. I can feel it" she said getting quieter and each word. "If she doesn't come back by the morning tomorrow, we will send out a search patrol" Mallowstar concluded. Nightwhisper whimpered and went to her den. Sunpaw lashed his tail. He knew exactly where Moonlily was. With Thunderhawk. Sunpaw went of to find Snowpaw. "Yes, Sunpaw" she said. "Where do you think Moonlily is?" Sunpaw asked. "Hunting?" Snowpaw whispered. She didn't want to admit if but she was starting to believe Sunpaw theory about Moonlily and Thunderhawk. She was missing patrols all the time and now she has gone missing! Sunpaw stared at her lashing his tail. "She is with Thunderhawk you mouse-brain" he hissed. Snowpaw flinched "I..I just don't want to believe that's what she is doin" Snowpaw said so softly that Sunpaw could just hear her. Sunpaw sighed and walked of. He really hopped Moonlily would  come back soon.
