"Did I hear you correct?" I asked her, my eyes widened in bewilderment,  just to be sure I asked her again. How can they send an Angel to Hell. This is impossible. She rolled her eyes in annoyance, "Yes, they send me to hell to get tortured for eternity" she said, anger coming back in her eyes. I shuddered at the thought, it is a great sin to send an actual Angel to hell.

They are the purest of creature, messenger of God. How can these god damn Witches send her there and why didn't she fight back.

"You are the most powerful creature, why didn't you fight back?" I asked frowning, if whatever is Rose telling me is true then she is free to take her revenge, she has every right to. She scoffed at me "You will try to fight back when you are mourning over the death of your mate!" her expression bitter, her fist was clenched.

"They attacked me at my worst" she said and closed her eyes. I nodded my head understanding her situation, if some one kill Chase in front of me, I will go berserk on them even if our bond is not that strong. 

"What happened after that?" 

She chuckled humorlessly "I got torture by Lucifer himself, he hated me the most because I was an angel and he had that purity at some point in his life. I have suffered for many years there, my once white wings turned coal black in the environment of hell. He even cut my wings out at some point. It was the most painful thing I have ever went through after Lazarus" she said blankly, her eyes not looking at me. It was like she was seeing right through me. "After hundred years of agony, I finally got an opportunity to get out of the hell" she said taking a pause and looking at me. I raised my eye brow in curiosity, how did she make it out?

"And I grab the opportunity and fled from the place, by then I got out I was too weak to take care of myself let alone get the revenge" she explained, I felt bad for her that she has to gone through so much. She sacrificed so much in her life.

"What were you doing in Baruna then?" I was curious to know and how did she went inside me, this is still the mystery to me. She raised her eye brow and chuckled "You are curious one, aren't you". I rolled my eyes but nodded along.

"Its the story for another time" she smirked, I opened my mouth to reply that I want to know everything now but she vanished away from the mirror and I was looking at my reflection. Just then door to this room opened and Chase came inside, his eyes found mine and he looked at me fully and after scanning me, a smile appear on his face and he walked in my direction.

I was happy that Rose went away before Chase could see her.

"You look fresh" he said in suggestive tone, I rolled my eyes at his tone but smiled nonetheless. "And you look tired" I said looking at him, there were bags under his eyes and his hair looked wild. His face lost the spark and his eyes looked dark. He sighed "I am fine".

I scoffed, Fine my ass. He is not getting proper rest. Without thinking further I took his hand in mine and take him towards the bed. He was reluctant to go but after one glare he shut his mouth and sat down on the bed beside me. "You lay down and get some sleep" I told him, he shook his head and tried to stand up again, I pulled him towards me and make him lay down. "I am fine Emerald" he said annoyed, I huffed "You are not getting out of this bed until you get your sleep" I said sternly glaring at him, he needs his rest. He sighed and properly lie down on bed, I was sitting beside him. He didn't close his eyes, he was just staring at me. I chuckled "I will still be here when you wake up" I promised him and put my hand in his hair feeling his soft hair in my hand. I slowly massage his head and he closed his eyes sighing in pleasure. I smiled at him, he put his hands on my waist and moved his head on my lap. I ran my fingers in his hair.

"I am not letting her take you away from me" he murmured, eyes closed. A grin made its way on my face. "I am not going anywhere" I whispered and his body relaxed.

I am not going anywhere.

I look at the window, running my hand in Chase hair slowly, he was fast asleep. He needed the rest, he is beating himself to save everyone from Rose. My mind was elsewhere thinking about Rose past, how much she endured in her life. She helped people and in returned they treated her like this, almost killing her.

What people don't understand, they feared it- Rose said

My eye brow raised in surprised. She is talking to me again, we are connected. How?

'How are we talking now?' I asked her, still a little suspicious. I truly want to believe her but she killed my best friend, I don't think I can ever trust her fully.

Like I told you before, you are me and I am you.

I have heard that phrase before but where, I can't seem to remember. 'You know I don't trust you' I said seriously wanted to clear this between us.

I know and I am not asking you to trust me. I just want to punish those people who made my life miserable , then I will never trouble you.

I can understand her but destroying this whole dimension can't be the solution of this. As if she heard my thoughts she responded.

 I won't destroy this whole dimension nor I will extinct any species. I just said those words to make people fear me.

I scoffed at her empty threats 'What do you want then?' I questioned her. I can practically feel her smirking.

I just want to destroy one and one person only.

'Who is it?' I asked, already knowing the answer.

You know the answer to that.

I closed my eyes and sighed 'Why did you kill Will?" I asked finally, my heart felt heavy remembering Will's blood on my hand. She was silent for a bit not answering my question, this made me wary of her. Is she even in her right mind or is she fooling me?

To tell you the truth, I fully came in my powers after five hundred years, I was vengeful  and I took his words as provoking, killing him right then and there- she said, her voice empty. 

I wanted her at least feel some remorse of her actions but she was normal, no emotions leaking from her voice.

'I can't help you' I said finally, Will smiling face flashed in my mind. I clenched my fist to control my emotions. I can't be weak right now. Suddenly she started chuckling.

I never asked for your help, I will be the one doing everything and you will be watching from side line.

I was having dinner with Chase, Alex and Alyssa. Chase looked refreshed after his nap, there were no bags under his eyes. His eyes looked bright now and he was sitting right beside me. Alex was sitting on the opposite side of me with Alyssa joining her. She was fidgeting in her seat ignoring her food.

"Are you fine Alyssa?" I asked dropping my spoon on my plate, she gazed at me under her eye lashes. She looked so innocent right now like a child.

"I am fine" she murmured avoiding eye contact, Chase raised his eye brow at the odd behavior of Alyssa. 

"She is just not feeling well" Alex answered when I was still staring at her. My eyes wandered to Alex and I asked the question that was in my mind for a while now.

"Are you guys together?" I questioned gesturing between them, Chase stopped devouring his food and looked towards them for response as well. Alyssa started fidgeting in her seat and I saw how Alex discretely hold her hand. I quirked from brow waiting for his answer. He looked at me a little annoyed "It doesn't concern you" he said with a frown and break the eye contact. I was taken back with his behavior, he never talked to me like that. What happened now?

"Alexander!, you don't use that tone on her" Chase said gritting his teeth in anger, I snapped my head towards him surprised. Is he standing up for me?

Alex scoffed staring at his brother, "Just because she is your mate that doesn't mean I have to be polite with her" he snapped irritated. My eyes widened at his bitter tone. I have never done anything to him. Chase opened his mouth to yelled at him again when I cut him off "What did I do Alex?" I asked, my voice wavering a little. I thought Alex was my friend but now I can see where his priority lies. 

He looked at me and gave me a disgusted look "You are still asking what did you do" he exclaimed and stood up from his seat. "I am done here" he muttered and walked out not stopping even when Chase asked him to stop. I looked at Alyssa, she was seating staring at her plate. 

"What happened with him?" I asked her because she is always by his side, she must know why is he acting like that. She looked up from her plate, her brown eyes staring back at me in confusion "I don't know" she whispered and stood up following Alex. I sighed and put my head on the table. 

"I don't know what got into him, he wasn't like that" Chase said putting his hand on my shoulder in reassurance. I hummed at his statement moving my head so that I can look at him. "I know, he must be stressed" I said but I knew it was a lie, I saw the way Alex was looking at me like I am some monster. I can't blame him, he saw what Rose did and she is still inside me. 

"I don't believe it, there is something happening with him, he never act like that" he said frustrated, I know what's happening to him, I just wish everything will sort soon.

With the help of my powers, I tracked Alyssa out in the library. She was reading some witch craft books seating on the comfortable couch. She stiffened as soon as she felt my presence in the library. I slowly made my way to her sitting in front of her casually. I read the title of the book it says- Advance portion 

Why is she reading a book about portion unless..

When she saw my eyes wondering towards the book, she abruptly closed it and put it in her satchel, I raise my eye brow at her behavior.

"If you are here to ask me about Alex again then I don't know what's happening with him" she said avoiding eye contact. A smile appear on my face and I shook my head "I am not here to ask about him, I am here to ask about you" I said throwing a grin at her way. She looked at me suspiciously but tried to smile back, it looked more like a grimace. I ignored it and asked the question I have been waiting for a while now.

"How have you been?" I asked casually, scanning the books which were scattered on the table in front of us. She looked taken back by my question but she tried to act nonchalant.

"I am fine, just a little shaken up with the whole ordeal" she replied looking at me, I smirked.

Little shaken up my ass.

"Okay, let me change my question a little bit" I said leaning little towards her so that she could hear every word coming from my mouth clearly.

"How have you been after the time you thrown me in Hell Alicia" I growled, my eyes turning blue all of a sudden, fist clenched in anger when I remember how she is the one who destroyed my whole world for worthless reasons.

Her eyes widened in astonishment and she tried to back away from me but I caught her arm in tight grip digging my nails into her skin.

"Lets play a game".
