Emerald P.O.V

I opened my eyes and looked around me, I was in the forest, a very beautiful forest. It looked like I have seen this place before but where, I am not sure. 

This is one of Rose tricks.

I moved forward to find a way to get out of this forest, just then I heard voices coming from few distance away from me. I quickly walked towards the sound and hide behind a tree when I saw two people conversing with each other. I enhanced my hearing to hear their conversation.

"I was running away from thugs" The man murmured pressing his hand to his wound. His eyes were blue like an ocean, he was beautiful to look at. I didn't recognize the male at all. I saw a woman kneeling beside him and pressing her hands to his wound. I couldn't see the woman face but she had blonde hair from the way I was seeing them. Suddenly the male wound disappeared and he sighed in relief.

What the hell am I watching?

"What do they call you?" Woman asked removing her hand and sitting on the green grass, he opened his eyes and sat opposite of her. "Thank you, My name is Lazarus" he said looking at her and his eyes widening in process.

"I am Rose" She replied smiling at him. My eyes widened in shock, the woman sitting few feet away from me is Rose but she doesn't look like Rose to me. Sure, she has blonde hair and blue eyes, other than that there is no similarities between them. I was shocked and confused that why I am watching this scene. Is it even real?

"You are so beautiful" he whispered staring at her in awe, she chuckled hearing that and he blushed in embarrassment.

"Come on, you must be hungry with all the running" Rose said standing up and dusting her clothes, he followed suit and they started walking in my direction. I quickly hide behind the tree so that they couldn't see me, As they passed me, I heard Lazarus speaking,  "Where are we going?" he wondered looking around. "Home" she replied with one word and suddenly they disappeared from my view. I looked around me to search for them but found no one. There was no one but me.

"This is the first time I met him" Rose suddenly appeared beside me and looked in the direction where they just disappeared, she looked the same as I have known her. 

"Why are you showing me this?" I asked frustrated with the situation. What's the point of showing me this. "I want you to know from where this all starts" she said with a faraway look on her face.

"Who is Lazarus?" I asked the question in curiosity, if she is saying that there is some reason behind her destruction then I want to know. She smiled at me, a slow smile "You will know soon" she muttered, with that I was sucked into oblivion.

This time when I came into consciousness, I was in the same forest but in the different location. I started walking knowing fully well, there will be some memory playing in front of me. As I predicted I heard the sound of chuckling and whispering. I moved in that direction and saw Rose and Lazarus sitting beside the lake whispering to each other. I was sure they couldn't see me so I sat on a stone and listen to their conversation.

"You know, you are so beautiful" Lazarus said sighing, this made Rose blush and she lowered her head to hide it. "I told you not to give me compliments" she murmured smiling at him, from the look of it, it appear that she enjoy this little compliments very much. "I am unable to fill your request this time love" he said putting his hand on her cheek and turning her head in his direction, they both stare at each other lovingly. I averted my eyes away when they started leaning towards each other. I groaned putting my head in my hand "I don't want to watch this" I murmured and then looked in that direction when I was sure, they were done with their romance.

"I have to tell you something" Rose said in serious tone, taking Lazarus hand in her and rubbing them. "What is it?" he asked concerned when he saw the serious look appear on her face.

"I have to go out of Baruna to help people" she said and waited for his reaction, he gave her an encouraging smile and nodded his head "You do this all the time love, its no problem" he said putting a strand of hair behind her ear and then putting his hand on her cheek.

"This time it is different, I don't know how much time it will take" she said in low voice, looking at Lazarus sadly that she has to part away from him. I listened attentively to their conversation.

Where does she has to go?

Lazarus smiled at her tenderly "Don't worry love, I will wait for you as long as it takes" he promised her with genuine smile and she smiled back.

"I will come back to you" She said and then they both disappeared out of my sight. I sighed, did she come back or not?

What happened after that?

"What happened after that?" I asked to no one in particular staring at the lake. "What do you think will happened?" she asked sitting beside me and staring at the lake as well.

"Maybe he left?" I said the first thought that came into my mind. She chuckled humorlessly staring ahead "He did left" she said without any emotion, my eyes widened in surprised, I just said it to antagonize her but I didn't know that's what happened with her. They looked so much in love then why did he leave her?

"Why?" I asked curiously looking at her for the first time without hate. She looked like a normal woman to me now, who has her heart broken by her loved one.

"Don't you want to know" she chuckled and then again I was sucked into oblivion.

This time I was standing in front of a village, a burning village to be precise. 

What happened here?

I ran inside the village and took in the surrounding, people were running in different directions, their body burning in the fire. I ran to the person close to me and tried to help her but my hand went right through her body. She was crying in pain screaming for help. I stared at her helpless and clenched my jaw looking for the source of destruction.

Must be Rose doing, she is such a monster.

I walked further into village looking at my surrounding in despair, everywhere I looked was destruction. My heart broke when I saw a child no less that six years old crying, fire burning his small body. His pain made my heart throb and tears appeared in my eyes. I wipe them away and walked further in the village, if I found that this is all Rose doing, I will kill her myself. Suddenly I stopped and stared at the scene in front of me. Rose was kneeling down on the ground, her face tear strained, she looked at her surrounding heart broken, her hands and clothes smeared with blood.

What is this?

I looked at the scene in confusion, "Why did you do this?" she asked in broken voice, tears running down her cheeks, tears as the color of silver, thick like a blood running from her eyes. I frowned watching the scene unfold. The person who was standing in front of her chuckled, her face hidden from my view. "You are asking why I did all of this?" she said laughing in mirth gesturing around her. Her voice sounded familiar but I couldn't pin point the face to that voice. 

"Abomination like you shouldn't even exist" the woman snarled staring at Rose in disgust. My frowned deepened when she used the word 'abomination', I never knew what creature was Rose but I have a doubt now. 

"I have always helped your kind" Rose said, her hand shackled to the ground, there was some kind of symbol painted around her. The woman sneered at her "Help" she spat the word like its a venom on her tongue. "You used your powers to show us that you are superior than others and you ruled over us" she snapped at Rose, her eyes widened in shock and she stared at the woman with somber look. 

"What about Lazarus?" she asked looking at her hand which were blooded. The woman chuckled and stare at the body which was few feet away. I looked in that direction and gasped in shock when I saw Lazarus body laying there, his heart ripped out of his body. I try to connect the dots, maybe Rose killed her lover?

I am still thinking Rose as a monster.

I stared at Rose who was silently crying looking at the blood in her hands. "He was just a pawn in the game, we sent him to kill you but that fool fell in love with you" she scowled looking at the body in disgust. "That's why I had to kill him" she said without any ounce of guilt. My eyes widened in astonishment.

She is the one who killed Lazarus not Rose!

"He was my everything" Rose whispered, her voice hopeless, the woman scoffed at this "He was a traitor" she said glaring at her. Rose clenched her fist in anger.

"He was my mate!" she yelled suddenly, her eyes changing color to bright blue, fire running in her hands. My mouth fell open, he was her mate?

"Whatever, he was a dirt who associated with filth" she said ignoring Rose angry stare at her. The more I hear the conversation, the more I get angry at the woman, she is a heartless creature. "Why did you kill everyone in this village?" she asked again staring at the woman with clenched jaw, tears running down her cheeks. Woman stared at her and gave a loud laugh "They had to die so that we can prove to the high council that you are a monster" she said proudly looking around, people screaming and crying for help, home burning. She just smiled looking at her surrounding, I caught a glimpse of her face but couldn't see her properly. 

"They were your people, they were your family" Rose murmured not believing that how can a person scoop this low. "You have to make sacrifice in order to achieve something better" she said without any remorse. I growled and walked further in the direction to look at the face of the  woman but stopped myself when she started chanted something which caused pain to Rose and she stumbled on the ground, her body shaking, suddenly white beautiful wings sprout from her back, I gasped and looked at her beautiful wings.

She is an angel, an actual angel!

"You will burn in hell Rose" the woman yelled stopping her chanting to looking at Rose with hatred. I have had enough of this. I quickly ran and standing behind Rose to see the face of the devil myself. I looked at her face and gasped in shock, my eyes widening in the process, her face, I have seen it before, her red hair cascading down her back, her fragile nature, it was all an act. She always stuttered whenever she talked to us. She act like a coward and now she is standing in front of me with hatred burning in her eyes.

This is all make sense now.

Why Rose is hell bent on destroying this whole dimension.

She is doing all of this for revenge.

Now I felt bad for Rose, she lost her mate, her home and now she is in the mercy of a cruel witch. A witch who was still alive after all this years. What has she done more to Rose?

I want to know.

As I was about to come in between these two, I was again sucked into oblivion.

Not again.

I was back in Chase room standing in front of the mirror, Rose was standing on the other side of the mirror staring at me, void of any emotion.

"What happened after that?" I whispered staring at her eyes which have lots of pain in them. The same eyes which were crying for her dead mate a while ago. "Council arrived, they called me monster and banished me" she said blankly but I can saw the ticking for her jaw. She is angry, very angry. 

"Banished you where?" I questioned, she winced at my question, her eyes suddenly looked glossy and she whispered the word so lowly that if I hadn't have the enhanced hearing, I wouldn't have heard her.

"Hell"
