"Damn, it hurts" Idiot Kyle said rubbing his arm where bruises were forming. Why am I struck with him? I am hurt as well but I am not showing it.You are not like him. They have kept us prisoner for one week, torturing us just for fun. And I don't even know what they did to Em. They have separated us as soon as we arrived in this Kingdom. They have directly taken us to Dungeon while they took Em in other direction, she was unconscious for God sake. 

But she is the monster's mate. Maybe he won't hurt her. 

How can she be his mate? I was astonished hearing him say that to her. As far as I knew Sabriyan don't get fated mates, they choose one for life. But this is surprising. 

I don't even know what to believe right now, there are so many questions swirling in my mind. 

"Can't you help me?" he groaned looking at me with hopeful eyes. I looked at him, his whole body was covered in blood and dirt. There were multiple bruises on his body. I know it hurt him but I don't have healing power. And I am hurt myself. I shook my head "I can't do healing" I looked at my surrounding to find a way to get out of this hell Kingdom. They have threw us out of their Kingdom after enough torturing. 

I thought he was going to kill us like he was trying with William.

William, Oh How much I hope that he would be here to help me.

But to our surprise, he freed us and here we are outside of the Kingdom, in barren land not a way to get away from here. 

And I am not walking from here. I don't even know how much longer I can walk in this condition.

I can't even stand properly, I am limping right now with blood trickling from my forehead as well as my arm. My ankle was broken and I guess, some of my ribs are broken as well. "But Emerald can do, I thought every one are same" he said confused. Human are really idiot. I scoffed at him, 

"Not everyone are strong as Emerald, she is Sabriyan, she possessed extra powers"

"Oh" Realization dawn on his face, "So you are just useless then" he spoke, little smirk appearing on his face. How I want to break his face. "Oh yeah, but I won't have any problem breaking your little neck" I advanced towards him in slow feral gesture. He started to take few use less steps back in order to get away from me.  "Scared are we?" I gave a short a laugh seeing look of horror crossing his face. Then suddenly I heard growl from the far left, I looked towards it and saw glowing eyes. 

Shit, we are in danger. 

I quickly walked towards Kyle with my limping leg, he tried to shuffle away from me but I gripped his arm tightly "Not the time to joke around, we have to go" I said in serious voice hauling him to his feet. "What?" he whispered shocked looking at his surroundings and his eyes widened in fright. Oh so he sees them. We tried to walk as quickly as possible when those creatures started coming out of the dark. They are just made of darkness and bones, their soulless eyes were looking at us with hunger. 

I stopped us when they circled around us. "Now what?" he exclaimed looking more painful, I guess his body is hurting because of our sudden walk. "I don't know, I just pray that they are vegetarian" I am best fighter but knowing that I am beaten, bruised and in no condition to fight.  "Yeah, but it doesn't look like that" he replied looking at them. "Back off" I yelled in the best commanding voice. They just made some gruesome noise and started coming to us slowly.

I guess they are playing with us. 

"I never thought my end would be someone else meal" I said sarcasm dripping in every word, Human scoff beside me "You are still joking in this situation" his voice shaking with his body. "Well, you have any better idea?" I growled, pain shot through my body. "Food, food" gruesome creatures started chanting , they began to bickered between them that who is going to eat us first. Well we are in demand. "Do something" I can hear panic in his voice but what I am suppose to do , with no strength I am as useless as this human right now. And after so much argument a buff creature come out from the crowd. Oh so he is the one who is going to take us as a mid day meal. "There is only one option now, what we Warriors do best" I said with determination clenching my fist to control the pain. He looked at me confused "What, running?".  

I glared at him,  "We are warriors, we fight until our last breath".

"Oh" he muttered still looking at the creatures that are coming closer to us. There is no weapon with me, only my fist. "Lets do this" I smirked getting ready to kick some ass or more like get my ass kicked by them. 

Ass kicked or become their meal. 

I gagged at that thought, at least they should use mouth freshener before eating me. Their breath stinks like I can even smell them from afar. 

Well they are not that far. 

The buff one jumped at me, with full force I swung my fist aiming for his cheek, but he dodged the attack quickly and kicked me in the stomach. "Ow" I groaned bending over, I am too much sloppy right now. 

"Caleb" human screamed beside me, other creature jumping on him, he tried to jerk them away but they are coming in numbers. I swallow my pain and stood tall going for his help when suddenly the buff creature pulled me by my leg making me fall flat at the ground. I growled in pain and annoyance. I can hear Kyle screaming for help but I can't even stand up. I can feel the creature lurking above me. "I thought you would be some challenge but I guess I was wrong" he chuckled, turning me over with his foot so that I am looking straight at me. "Are you ready to die?" I can hear malice in his voice. Oh my last time has come. 

Sorry Emma, I couldn't make it for our next date. Sorry Brit, I can never make it for out late night party. 

Oh my God, there are literally dozens of girls who are waiting for me. The most handsome and eligible bachelor will be no more from now on. 

What a loss to the world. 

I closed my eyes getting tired by second accepting my fate. All sound fading away, suddenly I heard grunting above me, I tiredly open my eyes to see light coming from the creature and in other minute, he became dust in front of my eyes. He is dead. Girls you are lucky I am still alive. 

Then I see my Angel who saved me. Please be a hot girl. To my utter relief and disappointment , he was William. All the tiredness quickly went away from my body, he lend me a hand to stand up. With his help, I stood up on my two feet. "Phew, was that so hard" I dusted myself looking at the ashes laying around me. "Yeah, I know you could have done it on your own" Will spoke sarcastically, I laughed and hugged him. He hugged me back a little tight "Ow" I groaned breaking the hug. "Do you want to kill me?" I asked indicating to the hug. He just rolled his eyes. I looked towards the human, he was laying down on the dirty ground unconscious I guess. 

"How the hell did you find us?" I questioned him walking to Kyle to see if he dead or alive. "I have been searching for you for a while now, so here I am and  at a good time as well" he said looking me up and down. I scoffed at him, yeah I am a little untidy but that doesn't mean he can say like that. "Where is Em and who is this man" he said little confused. Now I have to fill him with all the details. Boring Job.

We are at save place after escaping that dirty creatures. Will asked Derek for teleportation and we are near Sabriya, Will helped me in bandaging so I am little okay besides Kyle is still unconscious. Fortunately, he is alive. 

"What's the plan now?" I asked him sitting beside a wall for support. Will was looking in other direction, his jaw was clenched and his muscles were flexing. He was angry after he heard what happen with Em. I know he is more angry because Em has found her mate and he liked Em from the beginning. 

Poor him.

"The plan is that you are going back to Sabriya to alert the King and heal as well and I will go save Em" he said with determination. "Will, I like your confidence, but you are forgetting, she is in Midnight, you know the same Midnight where you almost died" I stated the fact. He turned around and glared at me "Yeah, and I know what type of hell it is, so I am going to save her" fire can be shown in his eyes. "You need a good plan to enter in the Kingdom, without it you will be a dead meat" I said calmly looking at him. "Do you any better plan?" He asked annoyed.

"Well I have one" I smirked knowing just how to save her.
