Where we last left off, You were finding your way to where The Entrance Exam would be, and meeting some nice people in the process.

You, Ruby, Lotte, and Tokoyami were all headed for the place as you questioned how an Entrance Exam works.

Y/N: Alright, run it down for me one more time...how does this work...?

Tokoyami: The Professors here will put all of our skills to the test in a small little competition. There are 3 things that must be tested. Power, Skill, and Smarts. Pass two of the three categories and you will be accepted.

Y/N: So what exactly are they gonna make us do...?

Tokoyami: It's hard to say. They haven't told any of the participants anything about it to prevent one getting the upper hand over the other.

Lotte: A-All of this is making me nervous...

Ruby: Hey, Hey! Don't worry! I'm sure you'll do great! You were invited for a reason, right?

Lotte: I guess so...

Tokoyami: Everyone focus. We've arrived.

As Tokoyami had stated, The four of you now found yourselves at a large gateway similar to the one at the entrance of the city. Except there was somebody guarding the gate.

He was tall and had spiky Grey hair that was bounded by a headband. A piece of fabric masking his mouth and neck as he gave off an easy feeling.

Kakashi Hatake
A very tricky sensei.
He has an eye out for uninvited participants.

Kakashi: More challengers I assume. State your names.

Ruby: Ruby Rose.

Lotte: Lotte Yanson.

Tokoyami: Fumikage Tokoyami.

Y/N: Y/N L/N.

Kakashi: Let's see...Ah yes. Ruby, Lotte, Tokoyami, and Y/N. You're all on the invited list. Come on in.

Ruby: Thanks!

With that being done with, the four of you walked past Kakashi. But before you passed him, You and him exchanged in a quick sample of eye contact. You didn't like the look in his eye.

Time Skip

Upon being granted permission to enter the facility, You and your companions were now all walking down a very long hallway.

Once you reached the end, Tokoyami opened up a large door to reveal what was probably the BIGGEST room you had ever seen.

There must've been over a thousand seats. All of them facing the front of the room where the curtains were currently closed up.

Not even half of the seats were filled yet. That allowed you and your companions to sit next to find seats each other.

Upon taking your seats, you noticed how the seats around you began to fill quickly. It seemed that you got there just in time.

Being around this many people was a first for you. There were strangers everywhere you looked. You slowly started to quiver at the sight as your breathes began to shorten.

Y/N: S-So many people...are they all here for the same reason as us...?

Tokoyami: Yes. It would seem that we have a lot of competition.

With that being mentioned, the curtains in the front started to open slowly. The big spotlights on the ceiling revealed one man standing there by himself.

Like that last guy you encountered, his hair was Grey. But his hair was less spiky. He wore glasses and carried a cane with him. Wearing a black jacket and a green undershirt.

Professor Ozpin
For a professor he's very mysterious.
He's older than he looks.

Ozpin: Salutations. My name is Professor Ozpin. It is my honour to welcome the youth from all around the world to have a chance of a lifetime. Those of you who hail from Beacon may be familiar with me.

Y/N: Isn't that the place you go to, Ruby...?

Ruby: Yup. Ozpin's...weird if I have to be honest. But he knows his stuff.

As he kept speaking, he eventually got to the part where everyone wanted to know about. The Entrance Exam and how it would be executed.

Ozpin: I'm sure you are all wondering how this Entrance Exam will work. As some of you may know, you will be tested by 3 factors. Power, Skill, and Intellect.

The room suddenly started to carry a more heavy atmosphere as you were starting to feel a little nervous to say the least.

Ozpin: Before we begin, allow me to explain to you how this "Exam" will work. Each and every one of you will be transported to a certain part of the city. Some of you will be transported alone. If you are sent alone, then your job is to locate and destroy a certain amount of robots scattered all around the city.

Ruby: Seems simple enough!

Ozpin: HOWEVER, If you are transported to the same spot as another individual, the two of you will have to fight each other. One on one. Wether you win or lose is not a factor. It all comes down to how you decide to handle the situation. And one last thing before we begin. Please be mindful that there was still civilians inside the buildings. So please try to keep collateral damage to a minimum.

Ruby: So it's basically an Easy and Hard mode...

Ozpin: Now that you know the rules...we can finally begin.

With that everybody in the auditorium including yourself began to glow for a short period of time before disappearing in the blink of an eye.

???: Do you truly think this was a good idea...?

Ozpin: Wether they destroy parts of the city or not will see if they pass or not.

Meanwhile

You had no idea what had just happened. One second you're sitting in a big auditorium, the next you're standing in the middle of the streets again.

Y/N: What...?!

???: So, you're my opponent, huh?

Y/N: Huh...?

You then turned around to see someone else with you. You felt your heart sink into your stomach as you were DEEPLY relying on being sent solo.

The person facing you was around your height. However with the look in his eyes you weren't too certain what kind of a fighter he was.

His hair also looked similar to yours. Black and Spiky. He got into a battle pose as your sense of nervousness turned into slight fear.

Kado
Comes from a very advanced Family.
He's also very smart.

Kado: Just a fair warning. I won't hold back.

Y/N: Yeah...? W-Well neither will I!
