Runningwish sat outside the medicine cat den. Cheetahstep was staying inside. Snowpoppy had determined that Cheetahstep had done more damage to her paw then they thought, the golden and black spotted warrior wouldn't be able to leave for a while.
Runningwish knew Cheetahstep was distraught about that news, she was excited to train an apprentice and now she wouldn't be able to do so until Snowpoppy believed she was sturdy enough to walk and run.
Greystar had addressed the issue by going to speak with Cheetahstep. By his order someone else was going to take over Patchpaw's training. Barkfur had caught wind of it and volunteered to take her place.
Runningwish sighed and got up from her spot by the entrance to Snowpoppy's den. She smiled as she spotted Seapaw and her siblings all surrounding Ravenscar, who had been taken over by Bluestar, giving her looks of wonder. Winterpaw and Rainpaw were with them too, not sure what to think of their mother now that a Starclan cat was occupying her.
Suddenly two toms burst into camp. In their rush, Runningwish realized it was Lionblaze and Jayfeather. They both got into the medicine cat den and Runningwish knew they had surprised Snowpoppy when she heard rustling and a little squeal.
