Chapter 19
I am so sorry this took so long to get out, I am absolutely furious with these Wattpad loading bugs! This is the third time I had to write this chapter because Wattpad couldn't save it properly, I am so sorry. Please enjoy.
Mapleshade was enraged with Snowtuft. How dare he try to make a move without her consent or expectation. She knew though that Snowtuft could have killed Voleeye through a surprise attack, but she also knew Snowtuft may have lacked at the end of the fight if Voleeye survived the initial surprise.
Mapleshade didn't exactly have too much faith in Snowtuft's abilities, their interactions heavily showed her distrust of him. But now wasn't the time to dread on Snowtuft's mistakes, now she had to deal with a golden she-cat glaring at her.
"How dare you ignore my orders," She began. "-You knew what his powers were. Never have I seen such foolishness!" She scorned with her bottomless fury. Snowtuft seemed to be struggling to hold down a snarl.
"I will repeat it one more time since your mouse brain cannot seem to comprehend it after saying it once. We will wait two more days before we attack Voleeye, I want to gain more information for Thistleclaw. Do you understand me this time? Or should I send you back to him?" Mapleshade finished. Snowtuft nodded silently, doing his best to leave the moonlit beach as fast as possible.
Mapleshade watched him, the green eyes of her host burned fiercely in contrast to the blue hue of the environment around her. Once the she-cat's pelt disappeared, her fur stopped bristling as she sighed. Mapleshade oddly recognized relief flow through her body and smooth her muscles, it almost felt like an overload.
It made her pause and wonder if Runningwish wasn't as vacant with herself inside as she thought.

Tiny prowled the forest of Thunderclan with one request on his mind. He wanted Scourge gone. The spirit chased his vision and did it's best to make the other tom bristle.
It annoyed him to no end, so he was forced to hold it behind a demeanor of disguise. How could he describe the interactions he shared with this phantom?
Scourge was a whisp, a cloud of annoying smoke that would try to trick him into choking on it. Tiny was easily able to overcome the shadow's tricks. He paused as he continued to think over his current situation, ignoring soft whispers Scourge tried to push through his ears.
Maybe he could speak to Firestar or Sunscar about this, they were the closest there was to experts on what was happening. He chuckled, they were actually the whole reason he was being put through this. His chuckles died down quickly though as he remembered Sunscar and Firestar had left to visit the other clans, which meant he would have to wait for their return to speak with them.
He supposed now all he could do with those circumstances was continue what he has been doing, just watching over his clan and keeping an ear open for any news from Greystar.
-------------------
Greystar stood alone, he was at the lake. It was a strange time of day for him to be there. Well, it was strange for him to be out of the camp anyway. He couldn't quite remember the last time he had been outside of the camp to really stretch his legs and wander around.
He usually hid in the darkness of his small cave-like den. He had been noticed by his clanmates as he walked through camp toward the exit, many had given him bright and positive looks, others regarded him with their common neutral kindness. He gazed over the lake, it was filled with many things but all he knew it held was it's own water.
There were so many things about the lake he didn't understand. There were things he wanted to know about it, but things he was sure he would come to regret figuring out. He knew that was equal to his outlook on his life as well, about this world around him.
Four sides with the same routine divided by their own mutual loyalties to different families. He sighed and drew away from the shore, the rising sunlight of the new sky on the horizon failed in making a grey pelt such as his ignite like so many others he had seen glow before. He had no time though to gaze toward something as brilliant as the sun, he had something bigger than himself and his clan to prepare for at the best of his ability.
He could only hope the visions everyday life granted him could make him stronger for his plans of protection. For the protection of his clan, his family.
