~ Clan Info ~
Note: This chapter is going to be a mix of the 'Territory', 'Camp', 'Prey & Predators', and 'The Code of Alpclan & Barrenclan'.
~ The Code ~
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clan, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on the other Clan's territory.
3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. A kit must be five moons old before it can be apprenticed, sometimes older if all the warriors have apprentices already.
5. New Warriors will sit silently for one night, guarding the camp.
6. A cat cannot be deputy unless they have mentored at least one apprentice.
7. The deputy becomes the leader when the current leader dies, retires, or is kicked out.
8. If the leader dies while there is no deputy, the medicine cat will choose.
9. After a deputies death/exile, the leader has a full day to grief, but the next day the new deputy must be chosen. (They must be chosen the same day if the deputy retired)
10. A meeting of the two clans is held every black-moon, where Alpclan gives Barrenclan herbs, and they share any important news. There is no fighting that day.
11. All boundaries must be checked and marked at least two times a day. Any strangers must be challenged.
12. All kits in danger must be helped, no matter where they are from.
13. The word of the leader must be followed.
14. Only cats outside of the warrior code kill in battle unless it is necessary for self-defense.
15. Both clans have rights to be independent, but when needed they come together to keep both clans running.
16. All cats are allowed to have mates, except kits and apprentices, but medicine cats duties are a top priority from sunrise to sundown, only at night can they have a break for their family.
~ Exceptions ~
Cats may travel on the opposite clans' territory if they must report something before the meeting.
If any warriors doubt their leader, it is expected of the warrior to challenge the leader.
~ Additional rules ~
Kits under two moons must stay in the nursery, kits age three moons and older can explore the camp, but not outside of the camp until they are apprenticed.
Cats may not eat on the journey to Jutting stones.
Medicine cats must heal everybody, even if they dislike them.
The safety of the entire clan is more important than a single cat.
If there are not enough warriors, some must have two apprentices.
Medicine Cats have free reign of both territories.
