Ivypool, much like the previous two, is a good character.

She has a mixture of good and bad relationships; the Erins made it so she would seem unable to trust, making many dislike her. She has the friends she needs.

I love seeing her as a mentor; she's very caring towards Twigpaw. She often asks if Twigpaw is alright, being almost motherly to the motherless she-cat. I find this very sweet.

When I picture Ivypool, Mary-Sue is not one of the first adjectives that come to mind. In fact, the four words my brain associates with her are smart, respect, flare and ice. A random thing to say, yes, but I don't have a negative opinion of this cat.

There are a few things that I don't like about her, though.

For instance, she is constantly meddling with Dovewing's love life. She makes her feelings towards Tigerheart (mistrust and hate) clear, trying constantly to separate the two. I find that quite rude, to be completely honest.

Also, she had quite a bad attitude for a while, towards... Everything. Putting others down because it made her feel slightly better about herself, not telling anyone how broken she felt thanks to the Dark Forest and her nightmare of always living in Dovewing's shadow... She reminds me a bit of bullies in school. I don't like it.

Overall, however, I do quite like her, despite her negative qualities. I ship Dovewing and Bumblestripe, and don't ship Ivypool with anyone (yet 😉), and despite their differences, I find these to be quite good cats with interesting personalities.
