"Of course, Scourge."

Darkmoon froze.

Anything concerning Scourge sent shivers down her spine. Tigerstar may have trusted him, but she did not.

"Remember, Bone. I want that little "Tigerstar" removed as soon as we've won. I can't have him in the way of our final victory."

"Of course, Scourge. But the only one who can really kill him is you. He is too powerful for me."

"You flatter me, Bone. Fine, I will do the dirty work. But do not abuse my kindness."

"I wouldn't dream of it."

"Then go."

Darkmoon heard the heavy footsteps of Bone approaching her and panicked. She ran directly to Shadowclan before he could get a hold of her.

"Where's Tigerstar?" she gasped as she ran into camp.

"Easy there," one of the rogues rumbled. "What's going on?"

"I want to speak to Tigerstar!"

"Wait in your den, Beautiful. He's out hunting. Why do you want to see him so much?"

Darkmoon scoffed. "None of your business! And don't call me beautiful!"

She ran inside the warrior den, her mind racing. Scourge was going to kill her beloved Tigerstar!

Darkmoon padded quietly beside the ShadowClan border, walking along the Thunderpath on the ThunderClan side. 

As she looked up from her paws, she gasped as she saw the most handsome tom she had ever seen on the other side.

"Hello, gorgeous," the big tom said. "What are you doing over there?"

"I-" I composed myself. "I'm ThunderClan."

"Why be in ThunderClan all by yourself when you can be in ShadowClan with me?"

"I don't even know you!" Darkmoon exclaimed. "We've known each other for like two seconds!"

"Then we should go out on a walk," the burly tabby suggested. 

So they walked by their borders, just talking. Darkmoon thought he was brave, ambitious, and funny. She loved that about him.

"Wouldn't it be cool if I reigned all four clans as one clan?" the tom, now she knew his name was Tigerstar, said.

"Oh, yes!" she exclaimed. "One clan would bring so much unity and we wouldn't have to fight anyone anymore!"

"I am in the process of that," Tigerstar said. "So do you want to join ShadowClan?"

Darkmoon paused, then said, "Well, I'm going to see them again anyway when we become one clan..."

Tigerstar nodded. 

"So sure!"

"Oh, StarClan, you're home!" she cried as the patrol arrived. "Tigerstar, may I talk to you?"

"Sure," he said. "Come, let's speak in my den."

As they made it inside, Darkmoon whipped around and met Tigerstar's eyes. "Scourge wants to kill you!"

"What?" Tigerstar exclaimed. "How do you know?"

"I overheard him telling Bone to kill you!" she replied in a panic. "You can't let this happen, My Dear-"

"Shush!" Tigerstar growled. "Nobody can know. I'll tell Jaggedtooth we're leaving at once."

"W-we're?" Darkmoon spluttered.

"Of course! I wouldn't dream of leaving you!"

Darkmoon wanted to whoop in joy. She was leaving with Tigerstar!

Her mate was quick. They left that very same night, and they made it to the barn quickly. 

Darkmoon sighed in relief. "You're safe now, Tigerst-"

"Call me Tiger," Tigerstar interrupted. "Nobody needs to know my real name."

"Then I'll be called Moon," Darkmoon decided immediately. "We are one and the same, My Dear."

Tigerstar nuzzled his mate, purring.

"I wouldn't want it any other way."
