It was horribly scarred with three large claw marks. It looked like I just came out of a fight and over my nose cutting it in half was a claw mark, right down the middle and over my left eye it was solid shut. I sat down in shame of my disfigured face, slapping my tail into the water to destroy the face I just looked at, Silvertail walked up to me sitting down and rubbed my fur with her tail. it was soft and kind it calmed my rage a bit, but my hair was wet near my eye due to tears on my face.

"Child Mistystar and I have been talking about your gift. We want you to be a medicine cat it's for the best.." She sighed and moved to my face which she rubbed her smooth fur to dry my wet tear hair I sighed back at the young she-cat she accepted me and that's all I needed...

It's been four moons since I came into the clan I have been able to help in the ways I could at the time and my disability. "All cats of RiverClan please gather!" Silvertail hopped on three different rocks up to moss rock as she looks down at the clan"Cats of RiverClan, as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I was startled to my new name as Wildpaw, but I kept my surprise to a low to make sure, I can stay focused.

"Wildpaw, do you accept the post of apprentice to Silvertail?" Mistystar mewed with great honor and pride as she towers over me.

"I do." I mewed pride in my paws as my tail sways with excitement.

Silvertail smiled at me as she could spend more time with her. " Then at half-moon, you must travel to the Moonpool to be accepted by StarClan before the other medicine cats." Silvertail looked at her new apprentice then glancing over to Mistystar to finish the ceremony.

"The good wishes of all RiverClan will go with you." Mistystar happily ended the ceremony and watched Silvertail lick my shoulder. Waiting after leaping off mossy rock some other apprentices headed over to me.

"Wow, you have only have been in the clan for about four moons! With that deep scar as well!" A silver tom hopped over to me and put his paws on her face putting light pressure on her scar. The tom laughed " well you want to see your new den?" I nodded with joy as he pulled my tail to the den.

In awe, I meowed "Wow the moss looks so beautiful this time of day!" I laughed as I saw some the others going to their mentors as I turned to see Silvertail. As a smile grew on my face "well I'm not going to learn herb names on my own let's go Silvertail!" I hopped over to the medicine cat's den with great joy.

"Oh, Wildpaw did you forget it's meal time we should eat first then we can start with your training!" Silvertail padded after me but turned near the fresh kill pile and grabbed a trout."Now eat up child prey helps the mind if in need to remember vital information, like herbs, names, and most important the warrior code." She put her muzzle in the trout as she bit off some skin showing it's red and pink inside which was my favorite part of any fish, Silvertail likes the skin as it was crunchy and in trout their skin was a bit to bite into which makes her feel like a warrior like her brothers. "Well, first lesson and mission for you take this paste of daisy leafs to Willowshine she was starting a ruckus about her joints at sun high she is in the elder's den it's across from the warrior's den." Silvertail gave me some Beech leafs with a light paste which was glossy with shine which made it look beautiful in the Silverpelt as the warriors in Silverpelt, watched me from above.

"Hmm, who is that? Oh, it's Wildpaw how is Silvertail treating you?" A black she-cat looked up at me. I assume its Willowshine as her fur did shine with the gloss like the paste did in Silverpelt. "I heard you had some herbs for me from a little guppy."Willowshine chuckled and gave me a smile." Well just rub it on my joints, and while you do that, I can tell you a story if you want." Willowshine lied back down, and I moved over to her hind legs, and before I started to put on the paste I nodded to hear this story."Okay hmm well do you ever wonder how a medicine cat like me is not in that den anymore yet I'm still alive. Well, I believe it was about a season ago RiverClan was in its end of Leaf-bare fish were finally coming back from a horrid prey less season, things started to look up for us in RiverClan. "Whitecough I heard its pretty bad and it comes in Leaf-bare correct?" I meowed with my paws glossy as I moved over to her front legs to put the paste on her joints.

"Exquisite and yes white cough is a horrid disease we cats can get during Leaf-bare, and with the bad luck that comes without prey. I got a white cough I did not tell anyone which only made it harder to do my job, I was cured, but with me being healthy I was in terrible condition to continue my rank, so Silvertail took over and now we are here...Thank you for listening most cats would not listen to my stories as they think they are lower than me it's good to feel like an equal." As I finished up, she gave me a very thankful lick on my head. For the rest of the day, I listened to stories from the elders they always had amazing stories which made me feel like I learned something after Silvertail ended my training for the day.
