The wind fights us as it traps us in a cage of flowers. As we try to push on, our paws loosely slowly pull off the soft ground. I think of escape methods to help us leave this predicament.

"Rose I have an idea." Badgerpaw tackles me, and I lose my grip. We fall the steep mountain as rocks cut and stab into our young shiny and dusty coats. "Gah! Are you okay? I'm good no more than a few cuts and wounds."

"Me too, so was that your plan?" I look at him as he shakes his fur dusty and matted and bloody.

"Nope, not even close. Why do you ask?" Badgerpaw started licking himself on his wounds.

"Then what was your plan?" I started picking out rocks from his fur, and I do hope Badgerpaw will be okay.

"We would find a bird and steal its wings and fly into the night!" Oh my StarClan, Badgerpaw is so precious. Like newly fallen snow, not even a paw pushed into the snow. "Well, lets head out!" The young tom sways his tail creating a dust cloud into my face making me cough for a bit. Badgerpaw was much more okay with getting dirty. I guess it just makes my coat feel heavier and ruins my day until I clean my coat.

"So Badgerpaw weird question. But where do you see yourself in your warrior days?" I look at him, and his face fell and tried to think about at and stopped walking.

"Well, I would say maybe walking around the camp head held high I see my kits and mate in the nursery, and they would greet me lovingly. Maybe being the leader and getting my clan to glory. But I know some things may not happen..." he started rambling, and I lost him as he got quiet as a mouse's squeak. "Oh, I started rambling... I should maybe fix that someday. When I guess same for you, question wisely."

"Um, most likely a medicine Cat nothing too drastic as I can't have kits or a mate. Maybe meet up with Bluepaw a moon or two maybe make trips to see everyone. But that may not happen as I see how much work Silvertail has. I don't know if I can manage it all." I sigh as I begin walking the sun setting again. It seems I may have killed the happy mood.

"So you and Troutkit anything there?" Badgerpaw inquired.

"Troutkit? Do you mean Troutpaw?"

"Oh yeah, he's an apprentice now. Well, Troutkit was a good friend of mine came to ShadowClan quite a bit."

"Wait how did he get over here? He would be sneaking out, and that would be impossible."

"Well, he came with a tom that I mentioned before."

We walked for a bit more as we entered a ball of fluff pounced on me. "WILDPAW! Did ya miss us?"

"Huh, TROUTPAW?!? WHAT THE COTTONPAW?!? Why are you here? Go away it's dangerous to be in someone's camp!"

"No worries Wildpaw I see why you are tense but no need to be as I requested them and their mentor to be here." Rowanstar took the words out of my mouth. What in StarClan's does he mean by requested?

"Huh?Badgerpaw! Buddy!" Troutpaw got off me and pounced on Badgerpaw he surely is a ball of energy today.

"Good to see you Wildpaw." It was Cottonpaw her voice hush I have never seen her like this. Quiet it's weird.

"Ugh I'm tired should we lay down and chat?"

"Sure but this crazy reunion is entirely unexpected. Who else is gonna join us Bluepaw?" I laughed, but it was short.

"Wildpaw!"

"Speak of the devil. Hey, Bluepaw! So what in the world is this all about?"

"Moonpool clearly! ThunderClan is not joining us as they will lone wolf it for more journeys from the looks of it."

"Well, medicine cats please come in here and uh the others can come in too as we need guards for the trip." Silvertail squeaks at the small young cats.

"Okay, so our new medicine cats will be Wildpaw and Bluepaw. Our guards will be Riverclaw and his apprentices, and Bluepaw and I ate going it alone as we are close to it."

"Klisterflight, I have a request may we take Skyblur." Hushed Bluepaw looked at her mentor, and Klisterflight sighed.

"Fine, you have been working hard, and I think you deserve some company other than I." Klisterflight gave up she must be quite tired and done for the night. "Okay, you are dismissed."

"Follow." A voice blow over me. Unlike any of any the cats present. "Wild as fire. Follow." The sound was coming from the apprentice den I ran in and looked around frantically. "Sleep." I fell and found myself in a blue rocky terrain.

"Hello." A black she-cat beckoned me towards a cave. She didn't talk too much but seemed very expressive.

"Thank you Bear. I have been waiting for eras to meet you." A raspy voice hiding in the shadows welcomed me to his den. "Wild welcome, now do not worry as Blue will meet me as well tonight but don't tell anyone of this conversation we have."

"But who are you? This is not what StarClan was described as AM I IN THE DARK FOREST!?"

The cat chuckled "No, no this is a cave. Mousebrain, well, for now, you're a mousebrain. But we are a group of the clans may call extremist but we share a simple idea. That is to forgive for any past mistakes. Like Bear had a bastard child, even if it wasn't mine I still love her. I forgave her, and loved my son." All of the cat I could see was a red puddle around his paws most likely blood. My muscles tense and grew more agitated with every sentence with his smooth, silky voice. "Your friends will make mistakes that they may never forgive them self's from even you. History will repeat, but I want you to change one thing. That is their fates. We all died in a bitter leaf-bare. Either from starvation or illness. Be their fire, warm them and take care of them. Any disputes burn the problems, as we made that mistake of holding grudges. That ended our lives from blood loss as my best friend killed us."

Swaying his tail, he entered the light with the black cat named Bear, both bleeding horribly with wounds coming from their face's or chest. Bear was wearing large cut in her chest cutting so deep I could almost see the bones both seemed very malnourished. "The cold did this to you?" I whisper looking at the wounds and starving cats.

"Life is cruel, and we have no power in these things. We chose this, but you can still change your destiny as the rivers will flood with tears drawing out the ones thirsty for their sorrow. Those who drink aren't your allies."
