Splashpaw woke up with the sun. Sunrise..... Training! She hurriedly woke up her other three siblings. "Come on, mousebrains, or else we'll be late!" I didn't get to wake Ashpaw, since she would be sleeping in the medicine den. Firepaw woke up, and Nightpaw followed suit. They walked out into entrance of the den. They were talking amongst themselves when their mentors arrived. Splashpaw heard them first. "Guys! Hush up!" She turned and faced with SquirrelFlight, almost ramming into her. "Sorry!" She quickly apologized. SquirrelFlight just chuckled. "Come on, you. We'll be exploring the territory today." She said. Splashpaw was ecstaticed.

    I walked fast pacec to keep up with SquirrelFlight. She paused. "Now, before we continue, what do you smell?" I lifted my head in the air and sniffed. "A dead mouse, a squirrel, and stale fox... Dead animal anyway." I was confused. This scent was unfamiliar. I hqd a puzzled look on my face, deep in thought. "Hey! Splashpaw!" I snapped back to attention. "Don't dwell on it too much, we'll report it to BrambleStar when we get back, okay?" She asked. I nodded. I tried to push it away, and I struggled. I did manage to inspect every piece of land my eyes could see. We finally reached camp. It was a few hours before sundown, so we made it back in a good amount of time. We walked into camp, and SquirrelFlight led me to BrambleStars den. I had to report what I saw. "Well, I thought it was fox at first, but then it reeked of death. I couldn't tell what it was, because I was too far away." I stated. He nodded, and walked out. "DuskPelt, AshHeart and LavenderFoot, I need you to do something. Splashpaw reported smelling a dead animal, and it was not prey." They nodded and set out. Splashpaw felt worried, and as she settled down in her nest, the uneasiness got worse.

   Ashpaw fell into a deep sleep. She found herself walking in a prey rich forest. The plants were lush and beautiful. A cat came to her, and then another. "Hello, young one. I am Spottedleaf, and this is Leafpool." She gasped. "Is there a prophecy? Is the clan in danger." They turned and motioned for me to follow them. I followed, and saw cats fighting, and a cat yowled in pain. I recognized it as Firepaw. I gasped, and rushed to help him, but he was nowhere to be found. Then Leafpool appeared beside me.

Fire will fall and perish
And water will be the only option
To cool the heat and return peace.

   I gasped. I awoke quickly. I turned to Jayfeather, who was soundly asleep. I had to tell him. Fire..... Water. How did it?....... Of course. Ashpaw's heart ripped. She knew what was to come. She walked to the entrance of the cave. She glanced at the stars, and sighed. She lowered her head, and walked back to her nest. She tried to sleep, and after a while, it finally came.
