MoonKit awoke to a strange rustling sound from outside their makeshift den. "Is someone there?" She called out softly. A pair of bright blue eyes stared at her, then vanished from sight.

MoonKit got up and walked towards the bush where she had seen the eyes appear. "Hello?" She called out.

"Hello." Said a soft voice. MoonKit squeaked and jumped away startled.

A small cat with soft, white cloudy fur jumped out of the bushes and tilted her head slightly at MoonKit. "Who are you?"

"I want to know who you are as well!" MoonKit said. "I'm MoonKit." The small cat smiled and opened her mouth to say something when, "CloudKit! Where are you?" CloudKit jumped and exclaimed: "I'm over here!"

A tall tom-cat came walking through the trees and his eyes fell on MoonKit. MoonKit squeaked and ran back to the other kits.
