MoonKit yawned and stared at the wall of the nursery. Just earlier that day the leader had died and everyone was mourning their loss. OwlFern waltzed into the nursery and scowled at all the kits. "Once I get my nine lives rest assured you will not be here any longer." They muttered beneath their breath.

The next morning, HoneyKit, JetKit, DaisyKit, ScratchKit, FlowerKit, MoonKit, SundownKit, SunriseKit, DawnKit and TwilightKit were called out by the new leader OwlStar. OwlStar's new deputy was TwinkleToes.

All of the warriors and apprentices were confused. All the kits were too young to become apprentices! "I know what you are all thinking. 'These kits are too young to become apprentices.' And that is right. As you all know I despise kits, so, I will be exiling them!"

MaggotBreath let out a choked cry. CreamNeck ran towards her kits only to be blocked by TwinkleToes. "Don't question our leader." They hissed into their ear. A single tear ran down MaggotBreath's cheek as the kits were escorted out.

The trip towards the edge of the territory was silent and quick. If one kit were to complain the slightest bit they would get scratched slightly to make them shut up. MoonKit was behind all the kits making sure none of them get scratched for being slow, if they slowed down she would nudge them softly to get them going again.

Eventually they reached the border. One by one the kits crossed with JetKit who was nervous last. TwinkleToes, their escort, hissed at them. "If we ever, and I mean ever. Find you over this border in our territory we'll rip you to shreds.

The most responsible of the kits was HoneyKit. She led them towards a place to shelter, after wandering for awhile of course. It wasn't great but it was shelter.
