Well, definitely not the most original name. I like Hawk- but it is overused. You can never really go wrong with -tail, besides being unoriginal. It's a simple name, and it's good, just not very unique.

Gender: Tom

Looks: Silver tabby Tom with icy blue eyes

You know I gotta point out those icy blue eyes :( they're just.. So overused. So are silver tabbies. This look is just.. Boring. I'd suggest adding some markings, like patches. Change his eye color to something like orange or yellow.

Clan: CloverClan

The double Cl makes this fun to say lol

Personality: (Former) Firm and strict with his apprentice, envies those more skilled and happier than him, strong, bold and ambitious. Easy to manipulate (see backstory)

Alright, I like this. "Easy to manipulate" definitely isn't a personality trait I see very often. I like that he's envious and strict, this is good.

Backstory: Hawktail was born to a leader and a medicine cat. They were FeatherClan, CloverClan's rival and neighbouring clan. Featherstar, his father, knew the two kits couldn't stay in FeatherClan and so left them on CloverClan's border. The leader found them and took them in, Hawktail's brother shortly died from Greencough. He grew up to be a valued and strong warrior, with an apprentice. He eventually also found the warrior he thought could be his mate- a pretty she-cat named Ambereye. But Ambereye saw Hawktail as only a friend, and soon had kits. But the kits were not Hawktail's, they were Needlestar's (the leader of the clan). Hawktail grew jealous and angry, and one day he met Featherstar on the border of FeatherClan after hunting close to it by accident. His father, a cunning and smart cat, persuaded Hawktail he was a gentle and loving cat and was willing to take Hawktail back in to FeatherClan as his son. All FeatherClan cats are given a scar on their nose- a mark of power- at two moons. One day when Hawktail met up with his father, he scarred his nose. Hawktail was furious, he didn't want to be FeatherClan. If he got the medicine cat to help him, she would recognise the cut. He had no choice but to leave it untreated, and so it scarred. Hawktail stopped meeting his father, and soon came across Willowshine. He began to fall in love with the kind, loving she-cat and one day he went to look for flowers to bring her. He never came back because his father had captured him. He was left alone, and began to turn insane. His father blackmailed him with food and one day half of FeatherClan, Hawktail among them attacked CloverClan. Hawktail was slain by his own apprentice. Shortly after the battle, Swiftclaw, the deputy's mate had a litter of kits. One of the kits was Hawktail- reborn without his manipulative father to control him.

Poor Hawktail. I... He didn't deserve that :(

This is a really interesting backstory. It reminds me of Hawkfrost, maybe because of the evil father, maybe because of the similar name. Either way, I like Hawkfrost a little, so.

I don't see any problems with this. It's an interesting story, good job. Not much else to say..

P.s. The scar thing is really cool I like that

Willowshine is a canon name. She's the medicine cat of RiverClan, Mothwing's apprentice.

Hawktail is deceased. His reborn self, Hawkheart, lived happily with a mate who is expecting kits. He is free from Hawktail's spirit and Willowshine has found a new mate.

Oh, cool. But.. Hawkheart is also a canon name.
