Name: Haretail

Simple, yet cute. Hare isn't very commonly used as a prefix for ocs, so that's nice. -tail is obviously very common, but in this case, it fits his appearance perfectly. This also goes well with his Clan, WindClan.

Gender: Tom

Good :3 Haretail is not much of a she-cat's name, so this is good.

Appearance: Haretail is a dusty brown colour with a white underbelly and legs with darker, muddy brown paws. He has muddy brown tabby markings and short, bristly fur. His tail is bobbed like a bobcat's or a hare's and is the pure white. His eyes are a soft brown with darker brown highlights.

Very descriptive! Brown is probably the least common color for ocs, so this is good. This is one of the most unique appearances that I've seen in a while! It also fits his name wonderfully.

Extra points for the brown eyes, which are also very underused.

Clan: WindClan

My favorite Clan! WindClan normally isn't the most common for ocs, so I like that.

Personality: Haretail is very fair and open to debate when punishing or criticising another cat. He doesn't like talking about others behind their backs but will say something to their face if he has a problem with them since he is very honest. Some mistake his honesty as brutality and he makes a lot of enemies that way. He's very intelligent and was a quick learner when he was an apprentice.

I love this, too! A very honest cat is a good thing. His only flaw seems to be that he can be too honest, though. Maybe add something else, like maybe he's selfish, stubborn, bossy, etc.

Backstory: Haretail was born to Lilystem, a tortoiseshell she-cat with brown eyes, and Addertail, a dark brown tabby tom with amber eyes. He had two siblings, Finchkit, who looked like his father, and Larkkit, who looked like her mother. Haretail was named for his pelt which resembled a rabbits'. He grew up in as normal of a childhood as possible and breezed through apprentice training. His parents and siblings were by his side the whole way- his apprentice ceremony, his first catch, his naming ceremony, and when he was made deputy-but another cat harboured a grudge against him for taking what he believed was rightfully his- deputy. The cat cornered Haretail one night and the two fought it out, leaving Haretail the winner and the other cat the traitor. The cat was banished and Haretail returned to his normal life with his mate, Hawkclaw.

This is very interesting! I like how this summary sums up just about everything. He lived a very normal life, but he had that moment where you still managed to make a story out of it. The stolen deputy position seems a bit overused... It gives me a Tigerclaw and Redtail feeling, you know?

Mate: Hawkclaw is a tom ( yes a tom I have a gay warrior ) with yellow eyes and black fur with brown splotches. They obviously have no kits.

I like Hawkclaw. His appearance is cool, but simple. Also, bonus points for gay cats ~

9/10! He's pretty cool. I might just recommend adding a few more flaws, and he'll be fine. I like how simple, yet complex, he is as a character.
