Once a deputy dies or retires (or possibly has just become leader) the leader or new leader must choose a new deputy before moonhigh.

Leader: "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our Warrior ancestors (you can put warrior ancestors or the former deputies name) may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of  ______Clan is (new deputies name.)
