Krystle manages to bag the international deal and Karan is quite impressed with her skills. They return to their office and Karan is unusually quiet. She’s amused to find him silent but lets it go. They reach the office and she makes her way to her cabin when he calls her by her name. She’s amused but follows him into his cabin.

“Congratulations, Ms Krystle. You’re hired permanently.” Karan says softly.

“Really? So fast! You challenged me some time ago.” She looks at him in his eyes.

“I did. I take my words back. You’ve proved that you’re perfect for this company.” he smiles genuinely.

“Woah! So, Mr Arrogant is back on track, huh?” She winks at him and this time he just smiles.

“Well, Krystle, this company is the fruit of my hard work. I am very particular about the people I hire for my company. And also, I can’t bear any nuances in work. So, yeah, I may be arrogant, but I care for my staff too.” He says and gazes at her.

“It’s good to know, Mr Tacker. I was thinking that you’re very arrogant and egoistic by the way you shouted at that girl.” Krystle words her opinions.

“I got you, Ms Krystle. But these days, I can’t bear any wrongs. And work should be perfect, I suppose.” He smiles.

“Yeah, it’s challenging but it can be purposeful, right?” She looks at him.

“Yes, Krystle. I am glad you think the same.” He beams at her.

“I know, Mr Karan. But, I’d like to say something. I know life has been harsh on you. It is harsh and difficult for everyone. But don’t hype it, you know. Be calm to everyone. Not everyone can be perfect on the first attempt.” Krystle says softly, her gaze never leaving his face.

“Neither can everyone be as spontaneous as you or me.” She gazes at him and then moves out of the room.

Karan is left thoughtful. Truly, he’s been very harsh on his employees and has been demanding perfection. He walks outside his cabin and finds his employees busy at work. Krystle is in her cabin and is talking with Radhika. The girls are laughing at something and then get busy discussing something.

Karan smiles to himself and at the same time, his phone rings, he walks into his cabin and attends the call at the moment. He’s astonished to hear what the caller has to say. He sighs deeply and then calls Krystle into his cabin. Krystle is confused to find Karan a little worried.

She asks the peon to bring two mugs of coffee and she moves into Karan’s cabin. She greets him and finds him a little tensed. She takes her seat on the chair opposite him. She looks at him keenly.

“What happened, Sir?” She asks, calling him by his professional designation.

“Krystle, I need your help.” He says softly.

“Help? Really? I mean what happened? You look very much serious.” She asks softly.

“Yeah. We have got a certain error in a project. I have to go to Singapore for the same.” he says.

“So, what is the problem?” she asks.

“Ms Dsouza, we have to finalise the paperwork for today’s deal. And the Singapore deal is also important.” He says worriedly.

“I suggest you must go to Singapore. Radhika is well-versed and she can do the documentation for today’s deal. I mean I can also go if you allow.” Krystle suggests.

“Good idea. Radhika and you will manage nicely, I know. But I also need a helping hand in Singapore. We need to go to Singapore next week.” Karan says.

“We can ask Mr Sanjay to do the documentation this week only. Shall we do it?” Krystle asks calmly.

“He has some important work to do. I don’t think he will agree.” Karan says.

“Sir, why are you being so negative? We can at least talk to them and convince them. Otherwise, you will go to Singapore and I will handle Mr Sanjay here.” She says calmly.

Karan looks at Krystle and is amused by her calm demeanour. Usually, anyone would be worried if they have two major things in their bag and they clash with each other. But the lady is still calm.

“Are you not worried?” He asks.

“Sir, I don’t know anything about the Singapore deal, okay? And for today’s deal! I know all the details. So, I can assure you that I will handle the documentation. So, why should I waste my energy on worrying?” She smiles at him.

“You’re right, Krystle. We’ll talk with Sanjay. Maybe, he will agree.” Karan says softly.

“Yeah, you must ask them. And please do not worry. Things will fall at their places eventually.” Krystle says.

Karan is in awe of Krystle. She’s really sweet to help him. He’s lost for a moment but comes outta trance at Krystle’s voice and she says something that leaves Karan amused and touched at the same time.
