Previously, Ash and Serena arrived in the gorgeous region known as Alola! They were greeted by a girl named Mallow who offered the duo a tour, which they accepted. Assuming the tour was finished, Serena wanted to have a conversation with Ash about her crush/dream crisis, suddenly Mallow swiftly entered the room asking them a question about the famous Alola High.

"Alola High, huh?" Ash said, scratching his chin curiously. "It's just one of those random schools right?"

Mallow shot Ash a dissapointed yet, annoyed expression. She rushed over to Ash so unrealistically, it's resembled teleportation. "Random School!? Alola high isn't some random school! How dare you call Alola High random!!"

Ash felt sweat trickle down the side of his face as Mallow continued her rambling of how 'Awesome' Alola High is. Serena and Ash exchanged nervous stares, both being incapable of interrupting Mallow, she was too hyperactive.

She finally ended her obstructive rambling, giving Ash and Serena an apologetic countenance. "I'm sorry, guess I just got a little carried away, that's all.

"Don't worry, it's fine." Serena said, kindly denying Mallow's apology, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"It's just, I really wanted to be accepted into this school. Sadly, I failed an interview from pure nervousness. I'm really trying to build up confidence." Mallow said, swiftly wiping her eyes before they became damp from tears.

Mallow handed Serena the flyer, it advertised Alola High, revealing the renovated school.
"The school has been upgraded, so now I really want to try the interview again. New attempt, new school, y'know?"

Serena nodded in agreement with Mallow's response, "We'll help you get in."

"What!?" Mallow and Ash screamed in surprised sync. "Yeah, you did give us an excellent tour. It's time for us to repay you." Serena said, holding her hand out.

"So, what do you say?" Serena asked.

Mallow's eyes radiated with excitement as she shook Serena's hand uncontrollably. "Thank you so much!"

"Hehehe, no problem."

Mallow observed the clock hanging on the wall in horror, "Oh no! It's 8:00, my mom will kill me If I'm not home!"

Without even saying a proper goodbye, Mallow hurried out of the building. Hoping to reach her household in time.

"..."

After Mallow's departing, a disturbing silence filled the room. The duo were obviously unresponsive to their current situation. Ash decided to break this silence, "I don't think I want to go."

"Ash!? Your not even gonna give this a chance!?" Serena shouted angrily.

"Sorry, I'm just not the school type of guy. I learn by having experiences on journeys, not reading through text books."

"Ash, you never know. It could be fun." Serena said, trying to convince the stubborn teen. Ash scratched his head curiously, "How could school be fun Serena?"

"Oh, that's simple! At school you can make tons of friends, learn new things, even find powerful opponents to battle." Serena said, placing a finger on Ash's nose.

"The final option caught Ash's ears, battling was definitely Ash's thing. He sprang off of his chair in pure excitement!"

"Battling, sure I could join this school thing!" Ash said, pumping his fist into the air. "Remember Ash, you can battle after school, getting your long needed education comes first." Serena said, mentally pulling Ash out of the clouds.

"Yeah, your right."

"We might as well hit the hay and prepare for tomorrow!" Serena said cheerfully.

Ash nodded in agreement as the two headed upstairs, in the direction of the rented rooms. "What number are we?" Ash asked Serena, observing the numbers on all the doors.

"We're number 720." Serena replied, finally finding their room. She unlocked the door, almost being trampled by an exhausted Ash.

Ash hurried towards one of the beds, throwing himself onto it. "It's so comfy." Ash shouted sleepily. Pikachu and Greninja mimicked their Trainer's actions, refusing to sleep till their hearts' content.

Serena sat down next to Ash, nodding in agreement. She took out 3 Pokeballs, releasing Pancham, Sylveon, and Braixen. "You three can relax outside your Pokeballs today."

Serena laid down next to a sleeping Ash, desperately hiding her urge to cuddle him tightly.

"Hopefully, we'll have fun."

....

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Suddenly, a Water Shuriken destroyed the clock, causing the pieces to fly across the room. "Serena, we gotta get going. Alola High, remember?" Ash said, desperately trying to wake up Serena. Serena shook her head, giggling slightly, "Ash, we have to sign up for Alola High, we can't just go."

Ash scratched his head embarrassedly, "Sorry, I guess I forgot."

Serena nodded in understanding, she went towards the bathroom, preparing to get dressed.
"I'm gonna get ready, please stay here." Serena said, hurrying inside the bathroom.

Ash nodded before walking towards the hotel Windows, he opened one up as a gentle breeze blew by.

"Alola, here is the start of my future journey."

....

"Take that mountain down immediately!" A construction worker screamed, commanding another fellow worker.

The construction worker in charge of a wrecking ball continuously smashed it against the mountain. Causing wild Pokemon to flee in fear in the sight of the destruction of their home.

The construction workers were ignorant about the legendary Pokemon claiming the earth underneath the mountain as it's home. They continued their destructive rampage on the mountain, until it began to collapse.

Thousands of home were destroyed, many people lost their lives. The construction workers held a disturbing grimaces, they enjoyed the feeling of their sins crawling on their back for the stunt they pulled.

"Excellent! Excellent!" Screamed a mysterious man on construction worker's Holo Caster.

"The mountain has been successfully destroyed, now our based can be built here." The construction workers screamed in pride.

"I'm guessing you'll need more assistance, I'll send more grunts immediately." The mysterious man replied, hanging up.

Suddenly, something was rising from underneath a freezing bed of ice, the size of the being was extremely intimidating.

"That Pokemon..."

"KYUREM!!!"
