TIME SKIP: ONE YEAR AND FOUR MONTHS

"Mint!"

"Yeah?" I looked back at Jiyoo who was typing stuff on her keyboard.

"What do you think about this?" She clicked play as I scoot my chair over to her station.

I started to bop my head at the upbeat music that her computer produced. I smiled at her with two thumbs up, "It's addicting!"

"That's the chorus."

"I also made a similar kind of beat that can go on for the whole song." I scooted back to my station as I immediately clicked play. She grinned as she played hers, causing a nice, addicting beat.

PD-nim gave us our very own studios to work on in the small dorm (I was surpirsed that there were extra rooms). But with partners. We had partners to work with. We were currently working on a song we hope we could debut with.

We were also making the very first song for our first album. We haven't thought of a name for it yet but we thought that it'll go around the concept, 'School Love'. You're not a K-Pop group when you don't have a school concept, as they say. So, we're starting it with this.

Minji and Seoyun were doing the lyrics, Yoonhee and Daehyun were supposed to create the choreo but since it'll only be a simple song, there aren't any choreos. So they'll both help in creating the lyrics. While those four were doing those, me and Jiyoo were producing the music and such.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you that, I myself, is now 18! I turned 18 around 8 months ago, in December. I can't believe it. It was only May when I first became a trainee. It's now August and we wish for the best. We really do.

I felt the corners of my lip tug up to a smile. I stood up as I started jamming to the created music we accidentally made.

I hugged Jiyoo as we both started jumping up and down for no particular reason. We're just happy. Happy that we've got to achieve this. This, what I call, 'success'.

"Girls, there's a reason I called you here." Bang PD-nim looked at us with a serious face.

I shifted in my seat as I sank in the couch a little.

"It's about time we think for a name for you girls." He changed his serious face into a smile.

We looked at each other as we had one thing in mind, 'We'll finally have a title.' We've never had a name for our group even if we were already making small songs here and there.

"I'm not the one deciding but you girls," He smiled, "I'll leave you to it." He said, motioning the cameramans to come closer. He left as he told us to write it down at the paper infront of us.

I grinned as my mind was filled with a lot of ideas. Jiyoo, who was beside me can't stop swinging her legs back and forth. I held her knee as I looked at her in the eyes, "You're getting too excited." I whispered.

She stopped swinging her legs as she whispered a small, "Okay."

I smiled at her with a thank you as I removed my hand.

Then, after that small commotion, we all started jotting down names on the small pieces of paper we call, notepads.

"DREAM is the right name!" Jiyoo said.

"Haha- NO! It's waaay to girly!" Daehyun protested, doing random hand gestures. "RAIN is better!"

"Why would it be Rain?" I whispered, leaning back.

"QUALIFIRES is a nice name! Instead of Qualifiers, there's fire in the name." Seoyun suggested.

"Nahh."

"Why?"

"Just. NAH."

"Aww. You're too mean." Seoyun fakes a sob.

Minji took action and hugs Seoyun from behind. She said something that ofcourse, I couldn't hear.

I looked away, No, god please, NO! Not like this. No lovey dovey love here. Nope.

Minji just said that she couldn't think of anything and just said, "GIRL'S GROUP". Of course we can't just agree to that.

Yoonhee won't say anything, again. She said that her brain is currently, empty. She was too busy jamming in her own world, another world filled with K-POP.

And, eventually, my turn had to come. They all looked at me.

"I don't know, AURA? That's the best I could come up with." I shrugged. Well, I lied. There were a millions more ideas I've had. But, eh. I forgot about them and this name just floated on top of all the other names I've thought of.

"That's..." Daehyun squinted her eyes. "Perfect." Minji completed.

They looked at me as they kept complimenting the name, like such as, "IT'S SO SPECIAL!"

"We should name our fandom, Aurora!" Yoonhee said, finally speaking up. We all shut our mouths and looked at Yoonhee, "You finally said something."

"Shut up."

"So, AURA. May I hear your song?" PD-nim said, emphasizing our new name, 'AURA'.

I smiled as I played the song in my computer. We were in me and Jiyoo's studio since we produced it in my computer. So here we are, hoping PD-nim would like it.

I leant back in my chair as I rolled back from my desk. I giggled, hearing Seoyun kill the high note. I found it funny for no particular reason. As the few last notes echo in the room, we all mentally crossed our fingers, hoping for the best.

"I like it." He said, "A lot." He added.

We all grinned before cheering out-loud to emphasize success.

Our very first song, 'Change', in our very first album, 'Crush'.

The new song, called 'Change', goes around a concept of a normal school girl who has a boring life, she says. But then a new student entered her life. A student that'll soon change her life.

The lyrics goes around this kind of concept,

Counting, 1, 2, 3, the days have past, nothings have been change.

And well, so on. You know the idea.

We've been planning to make songs to connect and so on. In this song, it's only the introduction of the girl to the boy. It's basically a love story with a twist.
