Tywin Lannister II

"Announcing Lord Tywin Lannister, Warden of the West, Shield of Lannisport, and former Hand of the King and his ward Alanna Lannister!"

The announcer proclaimed as both Tywin and Alanna entered the throne room. The music was silenced and all speaking stopped. Kayla stood behind Robert to the left of him along with the other council members watching while Judith held her own breath watching in the crowd of people beside Ned.

The two of them dawning black in their attire walked forward to the front of the Throne. They stopped before Robert and Cersei to whom they both gave a respectful greeting to in the form of a bow.

"Lord Tywin! Good to see you made it here in one piece!"

Robert chuckled grinning. Both Tywin and Alanna wore frowns, but each holding a different reason. Tywin's mood was due to Robert. Alanna's mood however was due to not only Tywin's mood, but her own being the fact of how Kayla had been running things with Robert.

"Thank you, your grace."

Tywin's monotone reply came. Alanna looked to her right feeling a certain pair of eyes upon her. And when she searched the crowd for a split second there she seen her sister Judith with Ned Stark.

"And I see you brought your ward. She looks graceful as ever."

He complemented causing Alanna to return her attention to the King and Queen.

"Flattery doesn't sway me, Robert, we both know that."

A small whisper broke out in the room. Tywin glared at Alanna. She felt his disgrace that he had at that very moment for lack of respect shown to the man.

Robert broke out into laughter. A laughter so loud it echoed off the walls in the throne room.

"Yes, I forgotten just how much of a cold bite you can give, my lady. An attitude such as yours has been sorly missed! A woman who isn't willing to just roll over that is to say."

Robert said glancing toward Kayla. Alanna caught his motion and her eyes fell upon the woman who had backed up ever so slightly.

"I assure you if anyone needs spoken to about attitude I would be more than happy to sit down with them and figure things out."

Robert chuckled a bit more as he waved his hand dismissing the subject.

"You're my guest! No need for such work to be done! Drink! Be marry! Hell get married!"

He boasted causing people in the room to remain silent. Alanna raised his head a bit, her frown deepening.

"I am married, to my work, your grace. But I shall enjoy what commodities there are offered to me. Thank you."

Alanna said as she went to bow. Tywin watched from the corner of his eye as he too gave a slight bow before they both wandered back into the crowd.

"That was some specitical you made of yourself."

Tywin said as he and her stood at a table. People couldn't seem to flock far enough or fast enough when the two of them stopped there. Alanna turned and looked up at him.

"You know as well as I that Robert would never dare say a damned thing. We hold the cards. All of them. We always have."

She said picking up an Apple from the table and taking a bite into it while still locked with Tywin's gaze. She noticed the deep breath he took from her action. She felt the warmth spread through her. She couldn't help but allow her lips to curl upward into a smirk.

"Don't. Tempt. Me."

Tywin whispered into her ear as he leaned over closer to her. Oh how she could be wonton toward him sometimes. Her eyes flickered to the left as she chuckled at Tywin's warning. Her eyes catching Judith walking toward her.

"Lord Tywin."

Judith said bowing deeply to the man. He didn't bother moving back from Alanna as he recognized Judith.

"Lady Judith. I see you've managed to find your way to King's Landing from the North."

Tywin greeted. Alanna still chewing her apple. Judith couldn't bring herself to make eye contact with the man, she never was able to do it even in his younger years.

"Yes, my lord. Might I borrow my sister for a moment?"

Judith asked as she looked to Alanna. Alanna glanced from Judith up to Tywin seeing that he was eyeing her.

"I suppose if you must insist."

He said putting his hands behind his back looking back down to Judith. She bowed deeply again before escorting Alanna away from Tywin. His eyes watching them both as they disappeared into the hallway.
