Ned Stark IV

Judith inhaled deeply. Something was bothering her greatly since her meeting with her sister, Alanna. There had been something about her sisters aura that just hadn't set well with her.

But she couldn't bother Ned with it. Such a foolish notion even for her. To speak about another ward with your own Lord wasn't something the other wards did often, unless of course you were Alanna, because it just didn't seem to often end well.

Most Lord's would become jealous or angry talking about the other wards and their Lords. So when Judith spoke about Alanna, it was Alanna and Alanna only that she spoke to with Ned, but here's the catch -- she would rarely bring her up unless Ned hinted toward the subject.

And this was where the problem lay.

Because now that Ned was Hand to the King, he had much bigger worries. Not to mention making sure his daughter's found their own path in King's Landing. What with Sansa moving toward a marriage, perhaps, with Joffery. And her younger sister more interested with sword play, how could Judith distract him with her own problems.

"I can tell something is wrong."

Ned said stalling on his papers. Judith locked eyes with the man who was glancing at her then back to the paperwork.

She adjusted in her seat and frowned crossing her arms over her chest as her gaze fell out the open window of the tower.

"It's nothing, my apologies."

Ned couldn't help but smirk and chuckle as his quill came to meet the ink pot before continuing.

"It's never not nothing with you, Judith. I've learned that after all our years together."

He said putting his quill down after finishing up his last word. He picked up the paper and looked over his work.

"We might not have the strong emotional connection, but just by looking at you, I can tell something is bothering you."

"Kat is out for blood, and Alanna expects me to be able to fix everything."

She stated quickly her head bobbing up and down as she spoke. Rising from her chair quickly she took several steps forward to the open window but stopped and stood looking out.

"I don't want anything to happen that would be bad for both houses."

"And what are you suggesting happen?"

Ned asked putting down the paper. She turned her head and their gaze met.

"War, Ned. I'm talking about an all out war."
